I sold some very high end Italian red…
I sold some very high end Italian red wines to these folks. I was given a fair price. Better than two other companies I tried to do business with. While there I was able to pick up a very good Cabernet "Andrawes". This is a company I would do business with again. I will also be recommending them to my fellow collectors.
First off, these guys are super responsive and fast. Sold my wine to them, prices were fair but more importantly, they were really transparent with HOW they appraised the value of my collection. I contacted them with the wine list, they responded with an appraisal the same day. Since they were local in Austin, I drove my wine there the next day, and left with payment in hand. In addition, Alex is super knowledgable...even recommended a few bottles I shouldn't sell, which I really appreciated.
My experience with Estate Wine Brokers was flawless. Every now and then over the past 10 years, I considered selling some of my wine, only to be put off by the absurdity of the process, lowballing offers, and ridiculous requests. Some wine buyers were only interested in part of my collection or none at all, as they deal in very large quantities and closed wooden cases, as opposed to individual bottles (I offered more than 10 cases, though of miscellaneous, high-end wine). A well-known buyer in particular never even made me an offer, but rather sent me a long, bogus spiel via email about how the market has slowed and Bordeaux wines are practically worthless, trying to lowball me later. Finally, a very famous wine house quoted me some fair prices for the wines, but wanted me to pay thousands of dollars for shipping. NONE of this happened with Estate Wine Brokers. I sent a spreadsheet with all the bottles I wanted to sell; Alex and Chase replied with an offer and a side-by-side current retail value; we made inventory adjustments along the way; Alex flew from Texas to Florida to inspect the wines, took possession of them, and gave me a check that cleared the bank. I have been collecting wine for over two decades (not a lot). This company is professional and lives up to its reputation. I highly recommend it and would do business with them again.

ordering was quick and easy, no hidden fees. Shipping was a little high but that's to be expected with a breakable item. My order arrived quickly and came as described.
Website needs some work, but I was able to make contact with a rep who helped me make my purchase. The well priced bottles were well packed and shipped swiftly and securely. Recommended!
the actual direct contact with a call from your company to rectify a situation. speaking to a live person and he was very professional and cordial and made me want to deal with your company more. very impressive. Only wish there was a way to get shipping to Hawaii a little cheaper but I know that is asking a lot.
Great condition and delivery. Excellent customer service

I ordered 2 x Altesino 2 x Florita
I ordered 2 x Altesino, 2 x Florita Brunellos on line and, due to cold temperatures, asked vendor to hold the order. More than a week later, I wrote asking for a status update. Chase wrote to confirm the wines were in stock and the order was pulled for delivery although it would not go out for a week because Estate was changing warehouses. Approximately ten days later, after not receiving a shipping notice, I wrote to ask for an update. Chase informed me that the Altesino was down to one bottle and asked if I would accept a substitute vintage at the same price. The substitute was a lesser vintage Estate sells for a lower price. Vendor declined to give a discount, I declined the substitution and gave instructions to ship the three remaining bottles. The next day, Tony (not Chase) wrote to tell me Estate was completely out of Altesino and asked if I would accept delivery of 2 x Florita. This latest communication was not accompanied by an explanation or an apology. I declined and cancelled the order.
Estate required me to chase them over the course of more than a week and either wasn’t aware of its inventory (despite multiple representations that it had it in stock) or sold wine to another customer it had committed to sell to me.
I am tolerant of well intentioned mistakes however this series of events cannot be readily characterized as such.
One wine had already been sold, but the website hadn’t been updated, so I paid for a bottle that didn’t exist. A second bottle I purchased was actually a different vintage (a significantly worse vintage). It took a week to receive a refund for this latter issue.
