No more Turbo Tax for Expat filing
I started out on Turbo Tax, as I have been using them for years, but got to a spot where I couldn't get through for the taxes paid foreign income earned. the software went round and round. I panicked and found expatfile. It took care of it with no problem and I got a refund!!

Absolutely brilliant and incredibly simple!
My son recommended this saying it was filing for dummies - I didn't really believe him, but when he told me I didn't have to pay until the end I thought I'd try it. It was all done in 45 minutes and it was unbelievably easy - in fact, not only easier than doing it myself, but MUCH easier than sending documents to US tax accountants, who charge three times as much. Fantastic user experience.

wanted an extension. it took 2 min to submit and 2 minutes for an email saying the extension request was accepted by the IRS. No Fee (I have used Expat File for the past 4 years). phew. more time to procrastinate. Thanks Expatfile :)

Too expensive, especially when transferred from last tax return. more equitable price would be $75.00 or equivalent in €. Service was good though.
