This is my second year using. I was REALLY hoping that it would have kept a lot more of the data from last filing to make it easier! Other than that it’s fairly straightforward!

Expatfile is the answer for all Americans living abroad!
Oh boy did Expatfile answer all of my prayers! They make it so easy as an American living abroad. I’m currently a student full time living outside of the USA. No other system, service or accountant has made it as easy as Expatfile in filing my taxes with such a unique status. Last year was a breeze and this year even easier. Also unlike TurboTax, their Customer Service is super fast, personable, and they don’t require you to pay for the ultra premium to get the white hand glove service. My customer rep was Max and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Happy customer and tax filer over here!
Great software and customer service
I’ve filed three tax returns with expatfile and am so pleased with the software and service. Very user friendly interface with lots of guidance along the way, saves your data from last year so it’s usually very quick, and reliable link to the IRS. No issues whatsoever. My recent customer service query was handled quickly and efficiently by a human.
Outstanding customer service
Expatfile was very easy to use - a simple and well designed website. But what made it outstanding was the customer service I received in trying to sort out a particular issue with my Australian superannuation. The team was incredibly responsive and helpful - very highly recommended.
