We spent July and August in this one-bedroom, one-bath apartment at The Landings in Dunnellon and it was exactly the relaxing Florida retreat we needed.
The balcony view is the highlight. You look out over a quiet spot on the Withlacoochee framed by tall palms, Spanish-moss-draped trees, and thick greenery. Mornings with coffee and evenings just sitting out there watching the light change were some of the best parts of the stay. It feels tucked away in nature even though you’re right in the community.
The pool area is equally nice. The kidney-shaped pool stays inviting, the spa is a great add-on after a hot day, and there are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Everything was clean and well-kept the whole time we were there.
Inside, the apartment worked really well for a longer stay. The bedroom has an impressive amount of built-in storage, the bed was comfortable, and having laundry right there was incredibly convenient. The space felt practical without being cramped.
A real bonus was the kayak storage and the easy launch spot right into the Withlacoochee River. Rainbow River is also just nearby, so we had two beautiful rivers to paddle whenever we wanted.
Overall it was quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by that classic Florida landscape. We’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful, tropical-feeling spot in Dunnellon.

We had the best stay at Crescent Breeze for our girls trip! The house was spotless when we arrived and was exactly as pictured. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend together. The beach was just a short walk away, which made it so convenient to go back and forth throughout the day. The location was perfect, and the home was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book Crescent Breeze again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting PCB!
This is a fantastic place to rent! It is clean, pretty, and definitely one of our favorites! The location is perfect…just steps from beach. We love cooking out on the back deck and watching the sunset! Marty is always just a text away and never seems bothered when he answers. We love having our dogs on vacation with us. We will definitely be back!
Reasonably priced. Condo had everything we needed for the 3 weeks we were there. Owner responded immediately when we had a plumbing issue and had a plumber sent right out for us. Plenty of beach towels to use. Had to only bring our own umbrella.

This townhouse checked every box! We had six adults, and somehow nobody ended up sleeping on the couch or arguing over bathroom space. 😄
The beach was literally steps away, and the best part? No elevators to wait on, no long walks carrying coolers, and no fighting for a parking spot. Just park, unload, and start vacationing.
We spent our days on the beach and our nights crab hunting, playing cornhole, grilling burgers, and eating our way through local restaurants. The beach wasn’t overcrowded, so it actually felt like a vacation instead of a game of human Tetris.
If you’re looking for an easy, stress-free beach stay with plenty of room to spread out, this is it. We’d absolutely stay here again… as long as nobody steals our dates first! 🌊🦀☀️
I cancelled within the time period allowed, but the owner of the property does not respond when I asked for a refund of my $1000 deposit as the contract stated was allowed. Florida Rentals is likely not responsible but this may speak of any vetting process of owners they may or may not have. They also did not respond when I made them aware via messaging on their site. I will only deal with property managers and not owners who may or may not be honest in the future.
The process of searching and booking a villa was very simple, I found what I liked and they got back to me immediately.
Payment was easy through PayPal and we had an amazing time. The villa was exactly how it was advertised. Would definitely use again

We had an amazing stay at Sunny Daze! My wife, our kids, and I absolutely loved this house. It was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The heated pool was a huge hit with the kids, and we spent hours enjoying it every day. The outdoor area, dock, and kayaks made it easy to enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting.
The location was perfect, and the house was exactly as described. It was well-maintained, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.
We made some incredible family memories here and would definitely stay again. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway in Marathon!
