I would have given a 5
I would have given a 5, but when ordering it was "in stock" and I desperately needed to complete a commercial project and it was not received for 3 weeks. They were very helpful and the shave purchased is excellent! Kind and friendly staff. I will be ordering more products from them, keep in mind it takes 3 weeks to receive. Thanks Sharky

Shannon, thank you.
I hear your frustration about the three weeks it took to receive the shave for your commercial project. We actually used a different carrier for this order who gave us an estimated delivery time of 7 to 10 days. I apologize that they hit an unexpected delay and took much longer.
I am glad our staff could help during the process and that the hand forged tool is performing excellently for you now.

Received the hammer. The same day I tried it then the secure wedges started to pop out. I Hammered it back then when I kept using the hammer for few more hits the handle literally snapped below the forged head. Contacted customer support then received great communication and replacement parts for new handle. Forged head seems great!

We sincerely apologize for your experience. The issue with the handle and the lack of response from our support team completely fall below the quality standards we strive for. We will be reaching out to you personally right away to resolve this situation and make things right.
I had a problem with my order and customer service got back to me very quickly and resolved the problem immediately. They were a pleasure to work with.

Knowing you see the quality and value in our tools means a lot to our workshop here in Ukraine. We forge our 52100 carbon steel to ensure every edge is ready for serious work. We would love to see what you create with them!

The website was easy to use, the descriptions and photographs accurate, and the ordering easy. Shipping was amazingly quick and hassle free for the distance involved. All of that just goes with the quality of the product: the axe and the hook knife were well made and nicely finished. They felt good in my hand. The edges came sharp, but, as is usual, benefited from a bit of additional stropping before use. I am very happy with what I bought and will go back to Sharky Forged Steel Tools in the future.

Thomas, thank you.
I am glad the axe and the hook knife made it to you quickly and feel good in your hands. We forge our 52100 carbon steel in our Ukraine workshop to take a sharp edge, and it is great that a quick strop got it exactly how you like it. If you ever have the chance, we would love to see what you carve with them.

The knives I bought were exceptionally sharp out of the box, they've kept their edges very well, they're sturdy and well built, and last but not least they arrived well ahead of time!

COULD NEVER TRACK THE SHIPMENT.SOMEHOW THE PROGRAM/SOFTWARE WOULD NOT LEY ME DO IT.OTHERWISE THE TOOLS ARE GREAT!
Reply from Sharky Forged Steel Tools2026-05-29
Hi Brian, thank you.
I am glad to hear that the tools are great, though I am sorry the software gave you a hard time with the tracking. International shipping systems can sometimes glitch out and stop updating properly between different countries.
We forge everything by hand in our Ukraine workshop to ensure the quality is always there when the package arrives. If you ever need a manual tracking update or a direct link in the future, please message us directly and we will look it up for you.
