I would highly recommend Gaia
Gaia helped us have our baby and we found them great from start to finish! They took the stress out of paying for everything when we were going through the expensive journey of IVF. We wanted to go to the best doctors and the best clinic and Gaia allowed us to do that, with less fear we would lose all our money and have nothing to show for it. It did work for us first try, so it may not have saved us any money all in all, but it did give us a huge piece of mind during the stressful process of IVF - and it really helped with cash flow and with paying the clinic up front, allowing us to pay Gaia back over time. We are lucky that we will likely have the loan paid off fairly quickly (the only downside is that the interest can rack up if you take years and years to pay it off) but I would still definitely recommend them. It is such an accessible system. I also found the communication to be great from their team, namely Stella!

The support that is offered is 2nd to none and without this company having my little girl just wouldn’t have been possible. They were super responsive, helpful with any questions and I think actually saved me money in the long run

My IVF Journey
I can’t thank Gaia enough for making my IVF journey run smoothly. They alleviated the stress of the finances. Every communication I have had has been excellent, so friendly and helpful. The care package was so kind and thoughtful and really helped. I would recommend Gaia to anyone going through IVF. It’s so comforting to know they are there any time and other members.

Gaia has been an incredible support…
Gaia has been an incredible support throughout our IVF journey. Their team is professional, compassionate and invested in making fertility treatment more accessible. A special thank you to Stella, our coordinator, for her attention to detail and thoughtful support. She even surprised us with a lovely present which put a smile on our face. The financial burden of IVF cand be overwhelming so we are grateful to Gaia’s flexible plans that have taken the pressure off us, allowing us to focus on our journey. We highly recommend Gaia to any couple considering IVF.

Haven’t been with Gaia long however…
Haven’t been with Gaia long however have experienced signing our contract, paying our protection fee & paying clinic fees upfront and submitting reimbursements to Gaia. Everything has been processed really quickly and simply and I received my reimbursements within just a few days as explained to me by the very friendly member of Gaia’s support team. So far a very positive experience with no unexplained or unexpected costs, they’ve just done exactly what they’ve said they’d do in a really timely and supportive positive manner. So far a 5* experience !

Amazing support
Amazing support, quick response and solutions to any issues or amendments. We received a lovely gift in the post wishing us luck with a fabulous book called Big Fat Negative which is super helpful. We start our meds in about a week and feel we have an extra support in Gaia

Highly recommend
After funding two rounds of IVF we chose Gaia to ease the financial pressure of our third round. I can honestly say they have been very good. Always respond very quickly and talk you through each step of the way. I would recommend Gaia to anyone who is thinking about financing fertility treatment.

Couldn’t ask for more.
From the start the communication with Gaia has been excellent. They are caring and compassionate which is so important given the client group they serve. The contract is clearly explained and the terms fair and there are no hidden costs or fees. My wife and I are about to start our first cycle and we feel so much calmer and happier as a result of the Gaia plan. The welcome gift is also a lovely touch and the handcream smells amazing!

Our IVF journey with Gaia
I can’t put into words how amazing Gaia has been for our IVF journey. After 2 full rounds and 3 transfers failed we ran out of funds to carry on. We then came across Gaia who were our lifeline. After a quick application we were approved for 6 rounds. Treatment then started pretty much straight away with our new clinic and knowing that we didn’t have to stress out about funds until we had a baby was great. We were then lucky enough to get our first ever positive test which has resulted in our 1 month old son. I can’t thank the team enough and all the emails of support from Stella during our whole journey were amazing. Thank you.

so lucky we found Gaia
Since the start of our journey with Gaia we have found the team to be supportive, friendly and helpful. The communication is personal and not generic, and there's a continuity of who we are liaising with. If we've had any queries, the Gaia team have been quick in their responses to us. We decided to use Gaia as we didn't know how many attempts at IVF it would take to fall pregnant (turns out it was our first!) but Gaia would give us the opportunity to undergo a few rounds if necessary without having to find the money up front. Thank you for helping us have our amazing little boy <3

Great, supportive experience
Having Gaia available as a financial support during a very tough period took a big weight off our shoulders and unlike many other insurances, it didn’t feel like a transactional process. Our liaison, Stella, was very personable and gave us enough space whilst also letting us know that she was always happy to support us or answer questions. We will definitely recommend GAIA to friends/family looking to do IVF in the future.

Friendly, flexible, family first
Friendly, understanding and informative staff who feel a part of your journey from beginning to end! The flexibility of plans and the feeling of security it provides you makes you feel like you have a bit of “luck” coming! Worth every lucky penny for us and never happier to receive an invoice as that means we have our beautiful baby!

It's a scam
It's a scam. Please avoid if you can. It sounds incredible when you read their online advertising, but I have never ever had an insurance or loan that exploits desperate people like they do. Most people undergoing IVF will have some form of individual difficulty as to why you are struggling to get pregnant. This is NOT catered for at all. If you fall outside the norm, there is a long list of what is not included, how I had to potentially pay more to Gaia, how it took weeks of hazzling back and forth with the clinic because I needed an extra 3 days of IVF, and it was such a hazzle for Gaia to even pay for anything. The clinic I worked with was amazing, and Gaia made my whole experience more stressful. I really felt like an outcast with how I was treated by Gaia. Also the premium cost is meant to protect you, but when you are paying a premium of £2600 for this "protection" when the final bill is only £4000+ is actually insane. Don't be fooled, the only one proper cashing in on this is Gaia.

We’ve clearly fallen short in your case, and we are genuinely sorry. To offer clarification on protection fees: they exist to ensure we can protect and support our Members in the event that treatment doesn’t go as planned. Protection fees go to our insurance underwriters to be able to offer Gaia Plans, so in the unlikely and unfortunate situations where the cost of treatment is lower than planned, we can’t discount the protection fee as well. We’ve laid out all of the potential outcomes in our Member Agreement for you. We really appreciate your feedback — we read, reflect, and respond to every review after speaking to the team to understand what happened — and will work to improve this for you and future Gaia Members.
