Went to 5 different countries in Europe (inc. Iceland & Faroe Islands), worked everywhere with sometimes good & reasonable connectivity. Overall a good roaming e-sim option.

Used the free eSIM that comes with Visa Infinite cards. Obviously I liked that it was free, but there were several instances where data dropped all the way down to Edge speeds in the middle of London, persisting even after restarts/cycling of airplane mode.

I used GigSky for a cruise and the coverage was not good. I couldn’t get a signal or browse the internet half the time. The data also didn’t go very far for my usage. It was a little tough to switch between GigSky and my Verizon data but the more concerning thing was a lack of service half the time. Amy friend who recommended it to me had the same issue so it wasn’t just me.

The VISA benefits are very useful, especially the higher tier. The data was available and fast enough for both European countries we visited.
User experience can be better. It is not really clear how to move esim from one device to another. The competition has adopted a one-esim-wins-it-all for a very long time in order to avoid the usual delete then reinstall dance.
