I think Golfsavers is a very convenient booking site for south Asia golf courses. For some golf courses, it was not possible to make reservations even four months in advance. However, it was a good service that I was able to make a reservation on short notice after asking and receiving an email the day before playing. Wouldn't it be nice if there was something like a waiting list? And one more, cheaper credit card fee would be more booking.
First time using golf savers and I was very pleased with the ease of booking. There may be cheaper ways to book everything individually but it was so convenient to let their team organise the accommodation, golf and transportation. A couple of areas for consideration in the future. There was not enough time allowed from hotel pick-up to my tee times. I enjoyed the courses but felt rushed, at times, between arrival and start time. Not sure about logistics but as I travelled as a single player it would have been nice paired up with other golfers that also used Golfsavers.

Beautiful, tough course, Fairways are only 30 yards wide so if you can't hit straight you're in trouble. The greens were slow and the tee boxes were shabby but one of the best, most challenging courses I've ever played.
Booking was easy and fast, was given a 1020am tee time but when we went there earlier, was allowed to tee off at 9am. Super hot later in the afternoon so this was most welcome! Beautiful course, greens a bit inconsistent but caddies were helpful and friendly to us high handicappers, overall 8/10 for this course!
Great course, first time I've played in Phuket and not sure what to expect. The course was in great condition, the greens are slow compared to the UK. Great selection of hire clubs although the grips are worn but this was expected. Transfers to the course and back to the hotel in Kata was a reasonable price, I finished earlier than expected so the receptionist arranged a pickup in 15mins which was appreciated. The caddy Noi was informative and knew the club selection for the distances and made the round enjoyable.
Never got the immediate confirmation. Quite often demand via tel. about status necessary. When requested timeframe was full at golf club - no information. Had to ask by ourselves. No alternatives were given by golfsavers. Excellent drivers and always on time. Flexible handling if driver was needed earlier.
Hi Martin, Many thanks for your email and I apologise that the service was not as slick as usual. We have been facing an unprecedented surge in volume which has at times stretched our team. This has been made worse because the golf courses are also very busy and tee times are at a premium. To secure alternative tee times requires us to call the golf courses and they often don't answer their phones and we have to ring again. Sometimes we have to call 6 or 7 courses to secure a confirmed tee time - this all takes time. There is only one course in Thailand that offers live tee time booking - all the others involve a lengthy manual process. The service was good and communication were good when i have done the booking. The only disappointment was that i have paid for 18 holes with cart in Dubai and when arriving there, carts were not allowed on the course prior a big tournament the following week. I understand the fact that carts were not allowed to protect the course but if I knew, I would have booked a different course. No refund for the cart has been proposed to me. Walking 18 holes on a 40 degree day (with a blot clot in the leg from the flight) hasn't been the most pleasant round i have had.

I found this course to be quite challenging and long but very enjoyable to play. The outlook to Khao Chi Chan Buddha makes the course really unique and adds to the enjoyment of playing this course. Food was great, the locker room was clean and tidy but just not as good as other course we played during this trip. I will deffintly play this course again in the future.
When I played there last week and it was down pouring with rain non-stop. It was quite a disappointing experience however the layout and the design of the course is interesting and quite challenging. But the condition is so so especially they have made holes and put a lot sand on the greens. Caddies are good and experience though
Course was fantastic, would have appreciated the update of green conditions - recent renovations - as they still played pure but full cost is just a wee bit excessive! Other than that, private members club that was good to us as guests.

Used golfsavers again as I was looking to play a solo round of golf in Bangkok and it was on short notice. Managed to book something and had a pleasant round early in morning. Will use app again without hesitation.
Although the club house is not well maintained, the golf course is good for play. Golf carts strictly on track. Hence, the green fee payable is reasonable. A very challenging course with most sides having water hazard, so bring more balls. Caddies are friendly, always with cheerful smiles, made a great difference even with a bad shot. Is quite an opened course without many trees.
It was the worst experience of my life a total rip off. Just imagine having 20 flights lining up on 1sttee box all given same time 08.45am tee off the whole game was basically waiting at every tee box at last I gave up missing 4holes never play there again poor management and no planning they could jv simply stagger it
Playing the Emirates (Majlis) was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I could play with my son as part of his graduation gift. The course was in decent condition and had some maintenance during play. That said, I was thrilled with Golfsavers and the ability to get us on this course. The same course that Tiger Woods had won the Dubai Classic on in the past. Thanks again for helping us get a tee time and the opportunity to play this course.
Prompt efficient and reasonably priced service. The only thing that needs improvement is GS need to make the Thai bank payment available without the need for extra messages to GS once the TEE time is confirmed.
