Bloody awesome
BEWARE!!! I landed on this company's website by actually typing in the hotel's name "Baymont Inn St. Ignace." My intent was to book directly through the hotel. What came up was "Guest Reservations." It seemed logical that this would be the hotel's site so I entered my dates for later in the week and booked my reservation. When I got the email confirmation, it was for the same day I booked. I didn't know how that could have happened - thought it was some kind of system glitch, so I called thinking they would move the dates over to the dates I input and all would be fine. NO. I got the runaround, was told to go ahead and book the correct dates, then I'd be transferred to the department who could refund me. Instead I kept getting told the "hotel partner" wasn't responding. I thought the hotel partner was the actual hotel so I reached out to them and they said they never heard from these guest reservations people. I was later told that the "hotel partner" denied my request for a refund because their policy is no refunds. I later learned after weeks that the mysterious "hotel partner" is none other than Priceline. Apparently Priceline hides behind other businesses or websites and websites that have better Trust Pilot reviews than they do. I have booked two, longer trips since last month's debacle, but refuse to use a 3rd party, and still no refund - Priceline finally got in the mix this morning and said their policy is no refunds, so I feel totally scammed. I paid nearly $300 for a single night's stay in a room I could not even get to the same day. Just book directly through the hotel - and make sure it's really the hotel - check the website path. These 3rd, 4th, 5th party entities are slick. Oftentimes, these days, places like Priceline and Expedia and these other hacks are not much more competitive, pricewise, than the hotel or if they claim to give huge discounts, they're likely not legit sites. Just protect yourself and leave the exploitative scammers to themselves.
Bien expliqué.
Easy to navigate. I was hoping for a AAA or AARP discount, but I did not see that as a perk.
I’m being charged a rate a lot higher than what was initially reported.
Quick Booking Have stayed at The Victoria many times
Tried to book as a member via the ALL app, wouldn't let me. Tried calling to book, no answer. Ended up having to book via the internet with no member discount and rates significantly higher than those showing on the app.
HIDDEN FEES. SCAMMERS There is no mention fees until you get conformation email. The Fees were nearly half the price of the Room. STICK WITH LEGITIMATE SITES LIKE BOOKING.COM OR TRIVAGO
Avoid at all cost! No transparency regarding very hefty reservation charges and also no transparency regarding real costs. Where other platforms clearly states per night, they choose not to highlight that fact. Complaining or contacting them is a complete waste of time as no response. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
