My 16 year old son had an account with heritage south. He started his first job at a local family restaurant ans his paycheck bounced. He had the amount withdrawn and heritage south proceeded to charge my son TWO nsf fees because the the check bounced. I asked them to fix it due to it not being his fault and him also being 16 years old, they refused so I closed their accounts. I have never seen a bank so quick to take a child's money.
Mrs. Davis was a joy to be dealing with. She made me feel welcomed and like part of the family. Other people inside were friendly also. I would recommend Heritage South to anyone looking for a banking home! Customer service was great.

I filled out an application on line for an auto loan on a Monday morning and by Friday I hadn’t heard anything so I called the lady at first said she couldn’t find it and then said she did.. so I canceled the application.
Heritage South is wonderful! Their online banking and mobile app are both easy to use and have tons of features. They truly help when others won’t.
They are not like any other banks or credit union, to me they are more helpful.

I have never been able to get anything done. I tried to setup direct deposits from my paycheck into my account to build retirement. Couldn't do it. Then I got fed up and wanted to just close my account and withdraw my funds. Couldn't do it. Not sure what use this account actually holds...Now I just tried to write this review for issues I have had over the years, and it says I can't unless I make the date within 12 months. So I did.

The loan staff was friendly and was able to assess my needs.She gave me the options, explained them and assisted me in completing the best one. I have been banking with Heritage since it was EPCO and have never had any issues. The employees are all extra friendly and take care of any needs that I have in a timely manner. I always enjoy our breakfast each year. Very informative and a lot of fun, food and fellowship. I love, We Help When Others Won't.
