The contract labor team was terrific
The contract labor team was terrific. The showed up on time and prepared to work. They did an excellent job packing the POD and handling my household items. They also kept me informed about the process as well as making sure I was happy with the packing.

Awesome team of helpers
Awesome team of helpers! Showed up right on time, we're very careful with our things, polite as ever, and all were very hard workers! Will absolutely use them again if we are to ever need it again and will certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving crew!
Apartment move
The guys came out and got right to work! They asked questions to make sure I was completely satisfied. And didn’t complain where we put the storage pod, It was far away for the apartment they were moving.

When they arrived they were very polite and professional. They brought their own hand truck and blankets which was great so I didn’t get charged with using the hand truck and blankets provided in the U Haul. I gave them a quick tour of what was going into the truck because I had been sharing a home and only my personal property was going. I’d already had everything pretty much boxed and marked as to where it would go in my new home. They got started immediately and within 30 minutes they had the truck packed. They did a great job of packing the truck. I don’t have much furniture, mostly boxes, which made it possible. Once we arrived at the new location they had everything out of the truck within 30 minutes. They were great about putting everything where I wanted it. They took extra care to make sure nothing was broken or scratched. Also, they kept the time just under the 2 hours so I didn’t get charged for an extra hour.

The movers seem to have made the most of the time, from arriving with the equipment they needed to getting the truck loaded and unloaded quickly. Having them place your belongings where you wanted them and take extra care to avoid scratches or damage is especially nice to hear.

Had 4 guys for 2 hours unload and move into the house two 16’ pods and assemble a bed. Perfect timing very smooth very helpful very friendly very courteous.

The movers were excellent great guys worked hard and fun to work with. The booking company increased the price by a $100 hours before the movers arrived. There was a mistake with the zip code and never looked at the city address, as a result I was charged

Communication Gaps
There's a big disconnect between HAH and their movers that work with them. When I confirmed dates/times with the movers, HireAHelper was not informed. Then, panic ensued where I was frantically calling HAH and the movers to ensure they actually talk to eachother, and NOT get charged/have movers show up on the complete wrong day. It would be better to work directly with the movers.

Beyond grateful and satisfied
Honestly, I was a bit worried at first because I had never heard about HireAHelper. I was seeking a company that would provide me witha few individuals to simply pack up, wrap up, and move items from our college daughter's apartment into the uhaul we rented (parked in the apartment complex). We reached out to multiple companies and the price was insane! We were so pleased with the service we recieved via HAH. The team they sent us were: punctual, super efficient, detail oriented, accomodating and all around amazing. We booked a two hour window for services dedicated to packing and moving out the heavy items. I was impressed by their efficiency and honesty. The staff were so friendly. The booking process was so easy. I am super satisfied by the service we received.
