I had a great experience with Icecartel. The watch arrived on time, was packaged really well, and looked even better in person than it did in the photos. ⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – Delayed Delivery, Poor Quality, and Defective Products
My experience with IceCartel has been one of the most disappointing online purchases I have ever made.
I placed my order based on the delivery timeframe and the premium quality represented on the company’s website. Unfortunately, neither expectation was met.
First, the order was delivered significantly later than I was led to expect as I was guaranteed in writing that the order would be overnighted from California to arrive no later than Tuesday morning but it did not arrive until Friday evening because everything this company sells ships from China and has to clear customs. This is also reflected on their website. While occasional shipping delays can happen, the lack of timely fulfillment and communication or I should say, outright lies, is unacceptable for a company marketing itself as a premium jewelry retailer.
When the jewelry finally arrived, the quality fell well below the impression created by the product photos and descriptions. The overall craftsmanship, finish, and construction did not reflect what I believed I was purchasing. Instead of receiving a premium product, I received jewelry that felt much lower in quality than advertised and significantly underweight.
More concerning were the functional defects. Multiple pieces had malfunctioning clasps that do not operate or secure properly, making the jewelry unreliable to wear. The necklace is almost 3/4” shorter than what was purchased. The earring backs were also defective and failed to hold securely. These are not merely cosmetic issues—they affect the basic functionality of the products. One of the pendants I was sold does not even fit the chain and is misshapen.
For the prices IceCartel charges, customers should expect products that are accurately represented, properly inspected for quality, and fully functional upon arrival. That was not my experience.
I attempted to resolve these issues directly by requesting a full refund before escalating the matter. I believe every company deserves an opportunity to make things right before customers leave negative reviews. Unfortunately, my experience left me with little confidence in either the products or the overall customer experience.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend IceCartel. Prospective buyers should carefully consider whether the advertised quality, delivery expectations, and overall value align with what they may actually receive.
I sincerely hope IceCartel improves its quality control, product inspection process, shipping reliability, and customer service so future customers have a better experience than I did. Should they choose to stand behind their products and issue a refund, I will reconsider my review.
Would give 5 stars but haven't received my stuff yet but customer service has been a1 can't wait to see the product
