Perrin wasn’t excited about going to camp, but after the first day he loved it! Thank you for changing his mind! The staff were great, and so helpful. Perrin enjoyed learning that he was capable of mastering a robot. He looks forward to next year.

My son loves ID Tech Camp. He learned a lot about Java Minecraft Mod coding. He also enjoyed staying at the UCSD Dorms. He raved about the food as well, which is saying a lo!

My son had a lot of fun learning about one of his interests: building robots. He was excited to work on his BattleBot with his partner at all times, so much so he wanted camp to never end! Great instructor and staff. Location was very nice as well.

The camp was set in a beautiful location and run by an amazing team. My son had a fantastic time, gained valuable experience, and broadened his knowledge across many different subjects.

Overall, disappointed. With the price of camp... My son brought home a barley useable robot that moves like a snail. I wanted him to learn to build, make adjustments, use it, try again, etc.

The staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. My son had the best time at his first all day camp week building Crunchlabs boxes.

The price for the program was high considering that the students had nothing tangible to show for participating in the end. Nonetheless, my child did enjoy the experience but could have used more help in completing the final project. He is now more interested in robotics. That outcome was positive. All instructors he encountered seemed well qualified and capable. Truth in advertising about the lunch: the daily lunch available was described as a buffet in marketing materials but it was not -- providing only one entree and limited options. Not sure it was worth the money.

Our son had a great time. For us as parents, this year was different from our first because we were not allowed up to his room to help him settle in, and we got very few photos of the activities our son engaged in.

Our son enjoyed the camp quite a bit, so that part is an A+. 3/5 stars from parents though. There was no communication of any kind as to what the kids were doing each day. No notes, updates, photos - anything. The staff at drop off / pick up were not in our child's group. Everyone was really nice, just would have appreciated more communication from the most expensive day camp we've ever done. Also, the final day "graduation" and the chance to show off the projects they worked on all week, total joke. We were there 5 minutes. No presentation of any kind but we did finally meet the counselor.

I enrolled my son in the summer program at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, again exceeding my expectations. Camp did an awesome job of balancing screen time with social activities and outdoor breaks. He very much enjoyed the experience and had lots of fun. He got to meet many new people and make some new friends. He (and I) would definitely recommend the idTech camp to others.
