Amazing experience!
From the start this was a seamless and excellent experience. Tenzin and the team posted the entry documents to our Xian hotel, which set the tone for the attentive service we received throughout the trip. Our guide, Tseten, was brilliant. She explained the history and context of every attraction with a depth that no guidebook could match, and her passion for Tibetan culture was genuinely infectious. Tenzin himself made a point of spending time with us on a couple of occasions, which as a company owner says a lot about the kind of operation he runs. What struck me most was how unhurried the whole experience felt. Nothing was rushed, and there was always space to ask questions, linger at a site, or just take it all in. Tibet is unlike anywhere we've travelled, and having guides who could speak to it from lived experience made all the difference. Tseten had a way of weaving together the spiritual, historical and everyday that left us with a much richer understanding of the place than we arrived with.
