Asking about a target budget helps us understand whether the project is workable and recommend suppliers that match your expected price range more efficiently and accurately. It is not used to set prices based on the maximum a client is willing to pay.

I’ve been working with JingSourcing for my vending business expansion in the Dominican Republic. Amila, their broker, has been consistently available and responsive to all my questions throughout the sourcing process.

We worked with JingSourcing for about 1.5 years on multiple sourcing projects from Hungary. The early orders went reasonably well, which is why this review is written more in disappointment than anger.
In late 2024 we ordered gym shakers through JingSourcing. Their account team selected the factory model from their own catalogue. In early 2025, after the goods arrived in Hungary, the rights holder of an EU-registered Community Design enforced their rights against us. We had to destroy the entire stock under notary supervision and settle directly with the rights holder. JingSourcing's sourcing service is publicly positioned as including supplier vetting and IP/compliance assurance, so we raised the matter with them.
In April 2025, after negotiation, the account director confirmed in writing: 40% compensation (USD 1,668 on a USD 4,170 order), to be applied as credit toward future orders. This was their proposal, accepted by us in good faith.
Over the following year we placed several sourcing requests through them - a portfolio expansion in July 2025 (LED panels, projectors, manufacturer catalogue), and a prefab insulated garage project in November 2025–January 2026. None resulted in a workable order; JingSourcing reported they couldn't source any of them. The credit was effectively unusable.
When I asked for the credit to be paid as a direct refund, the response moved across several emails as follows:
- USD 1,340 direct refund (initial counter-offer)
- USD 834 direct refund (next email)
- No direct refund at all (next email)
- ~25% of the agreed amount as a discount on a hypothetical future order (final position)
In the later emails the original agreement was also recharacterized in ways that don't match the written record — for example, the original offer was described as 20%, when the April 2025 emails clearly show it was 30%. I escalated to the founder; no intervention.
I'm publishing this not because of the amount — USD 1,668 doesn't materially affect our business. I'm publishing it because the experience contradicts the brand JingSourcing publicly stands for: a reliable sourcing partner for small businesses without their own team in China. When the situation was straightforward, the cooperation was professional. When the company was asked to honor a written commitment in a difficult case, the position shifted in each email until the commitment was effectively withdrawn.
If you're a small business considering JingSourcing for anything beyond simple repeat orders - or for products where IP-clearance matters - weigh how the company handles disputes, not only how it handles easy transactions. Full email thread documented.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely regret that our cooperation ended this way after working together for more than a year.
We would like to clarify several important points for context.
First, JingSourcing’s service focuses on supplier sourcing, factory communication, production follow-up, quality control, and export coordination from China. We have never promoted our service as a legal IP or patent clearance service for overseas markets.
IP and design compliance in different countries is a highly specialized legal matter that typically requires professional local review. As is standard in international trade, importers are generally responsible for confirming whether products can be legally sold in their target market.
Although we did not consider ourselves legally responsible for the issue involved, we still tried to support the relationship in good faith. The original arrangement discussed in 2025 was future order credit intended for continued cooperation, rather than an unconditional cash refund.
Later, we did evaluate the sourcing projects mentioned in the review, but ultimately could not identify cooperation conditions that were workable for both sides. This was not a refusal to cooperate. Discussions shifted toward whether part of the future order credit could instead be converted into direct cash settlement.
The different figures mentioned across emails were therefore part of later discussions regarding possible cash settlement structures, rather than a withdrawal of the original arrangement.
As a company that works closely with many startups and small businesses, we always try to handle disputes through communication and practical compromise whenever possible. At the same time, supporting small businesses does not mean we can assume unlimited liability for overseas IP matters outside the scope of our sourcing service.
We understand that you view the situation differently, and we respect your right to share your experience publicly. However, we believe the review does not fully reflect the original scope of our service or the full context of the discussions over time.
