Overall great
Thank you for the 5-star review! We're glad the experience was great overall. Congratulations on completing your course, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
I was very pleased with the video portion of my classes, but was extraordinarily disappointed in the written classes. Perhaps I missed that the material was all in writing, but I will switch to a different provider if that's the case in the future. One of the things I like about Kaplan are the workbooks and two of my classes didn't offer them. I also felt that the Fair Housing module had a lot of information that was not related to the subject matter. I thought the material (especially, the written ones) were not near as good as in past years!
Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback, but we're genuinely sorry the written courses fell short of your expectations. You raise fair points: the format of each course should be clearer before enrollment, so you know whether it's video-based or text-based. We understand the workbooks have been a valuable part of your experience in past years. We also appreciate the specific note about the Fair Housing module; we'll share that with our content team as we review and update course material. Thank you again for your honest feedback.
The course material is easy to follow, and the sample tests at the end of each section are helpful reviews. The final exam was tough, because only 10 questions, but I was able to pass! I will take more Kaplan classes.
We're so glad to hear our course materials and sample tests were helpful for you. Congratulations on passing the final exam, even with its challenging format! We appreciate your positive feedback and look forward to welcoming you back to more of our classes. Mark Customer Support

The course is hard to follow, the website is confusing and the steps were not very clear. I wish I had found a better program to use.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it can be when course navigation and instructions aren't as clear as they should be. Your comments are valuable and will be shared with our team as we continue working to improve both our courses and the overall student experience. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best in your real estate journey.

The final test is harder than it should be compared to in person class requirements

I went for my broker exam at the beginning of the week and (after getting an 89% on my final exam from another course), I realized the other course did NOT prepare me for the state exam. I read a few reviews and asked ChatGPT, directed me to Kaplan - best investment. Easy to use, proper question bank and easy self paced testing. 100% recommend

I heard about Kaplan at a Christmas party in 2024. I decided to look into it in March of 2025. I examined the courses and decided to take a chance, and I am so glad I did. I started my course back in late March of 2025, and it was a game changer, I felt the instructors were very knowledgeable and you also felt a sense of comfort coming from them, as they once were in your shoes as well. I had a lot of life's wonderful distractions after I finished the classes in May of 2025. I passed my state exam on the first try, however the National test was a heartbreak. I tried 3 times and no dice, I had to take the State exam again and passed but I was stuck. I just could not pass the National exam, I took it a 4th time missed passing by 3 points. I took it again the 5th time, I missed it by 1 questions that would have given me a passing score, devastation set in. However Kaplan stood by their commitment and as long as I stayed committed to study they worked with me every time. I was very fortunate to have had 3 special instructors that took the time and never gave up on me and they never allowed me to give up on myself either. A huge shout out to Abigail Gonzales & Cheryl Kane for taking the time to talk with me and assist me with study material, I will never forget you both. And a special thanks to Jennifer Van Ornum, you never gave up on me, you encouraged me and gave me the faith and the support, the hope that I needed, I will never forget the time you gave me. And I am also happy to say that the Kaplan school and staff was so amazing during the whole process, that after all my trials, I have successfully passed both exams and on my way into Real estate. Thank you to everyone and Kaplan for this experience. Stephanie M.
