Laptop works very well including…
Laptop works very well including installed software. The book I bought with it (Ubuntu 22.04) was not up to date: the webpage it refers to was no longer there. One star less for that.

TongFang GX5 with AMD 9/32Gb
Ordered TongFang GX5 with AMD 9/32Gb without OS, it was deliverd after 6 days. It was very well packaged. Installed Linux on it. Only the cable network adaptor would not work out of the box. Some searching I found a reposisitory on github installed the driver, and yes it worked. It would have been nice that the driver was provided by laptopwithlinux.com (or atleast the link where to find the driver) in the case ordering without OS. Its a great machine, works very well doesn't get hot when having it on my lap (like my previous) I specially like the cursor buttons big. I looked at other manufacturers, but they offer less for more money, GX5/AMD9/32Gb is cheaper and have better specifications.
mixed experiences
+ configuration options for the device on website is well organized and gives a lot of useful choices + delivery was extremely rapid + mechanical construction seems to be solid - touchpad sometimes overreacts and sometimes has difficulties to distinguish right from left clicks - touchpad off center is not very ergonomic - putting to and waking up from sleep mode and hibernation is pretty unreliable (reason for heat death of many devices in the past), to my opinion a no go for a laptop
All good
Provided what I wanted and answered my questions appropriately.
Great to deal with

LaptopWithLinux provided the absolute…
LaptopWithLinux provided the absolute best experience I've ever had purchasing a new computer. My first laptop from them, purchased more than 5 years ago, is still running strong. I recently upgraded to see what AI could do with an AMD iGPU and 96GB of system RAM, and I'm living the local LLM dream. I couldn't be happier! The customization LWL offers is unreal. Pick your Linux OS, RAM, and SSD—or none of the above. It's a "choose your own adventure" computer build, which is exactly what an IT control freak needs. All of this comes at an incredibly fair price; if you spec out a similar build from Lenovo or System76, it'll make your eyes water. I received my laptop in just 3–4 days (Netherlands to US). If you need Linux on a laptop, look no further. I highly recommend them!
Love my laptop
Love my laptop. They got a part of my order wrong and were quick to give a partial refund to make up for it. Very satisfied with the product and the response on customer service. Will definitely purchase from them again.

Laptop with Linux were excellent
They customised my laptop and shipped it in double quick time. Excellent service. I think their service will be in great demand as windows collapses.
All perfect
As always, perfect. The hardware and the service.
Very good performance to price ratio
Dispatched in less than 24 hours, ready to use with your Linux distribution of choice, plenty of choices for hardware customization.
Exellent in all aspects
Very fast, friendly, approachable and technical crew!

The Tongfang laptops are really great quality! Excellent screen, very fast cpu and steady build quality. Easy to upgrade, the 14 inch can hold 2 fast nvme ssd's. Accu is very big, weight is normal. Laptop met Linux answers very fast to questions, they are real professionals. Keep going and help people with Linux for more privacy!
Good product, fast shipping poor customer service
Ordered laptop on 12/12/26, received 0n 12/17/2026 in perfect condition. Love the computer. Five plus stars. I had a question about it and contacted laptopwithlinux via a form to contact customer service on their website. Laptopwithlinux never gave me the courtesy of responding to my question. Customer service zero stars. I still love the computer I bought from them
Good and serious company
Fast shipping and good communication, product reached after two days with my language keyboard and at a distance of 1000 km. Recommended.
Fast response and service.
My first time with a Linux O.S
My first time with a Linux O.S. The technician was very patient with me as I asked questions about how to get my printer to work, how to get an app to work, etc. I live in the U.S. and received the laptop incredibly fast. Good experience. My only wish is that there is someone in the U.S. I can talk to on the phone rather than communicating by email.
Super-fast, professional and available
I've bought an ultrabook for local AI/LLM deployment; it was assembled and shipped very quickly, and with expedited shipping I received it within 3 days of ordering. Peter was extremely helpful both before and after the purchase, helping me with the installation and configuration of AMD ROCm and Ollama, even though they weren't included in their standard offering.
