Initially your conversation regarding your system update was explained correctly, that a $200 deposit could be used to begin the order process, with the remaining balance due after the work was completed. However, when it came time to place the order, the misunderstanding was that maybe you had chosen to pay the full amount at the time of purchase rather than making only the deposit. While memories of conversations can differ, we should always be very careful when discussing pricing and payment arrangements with our customers and strive to ensure our expectations are clear throughout the process. The replacement being referenced is for the optional ScaleSolver component, not the entire LifeSource water system itself. The ScaleSolver is designed to help reduce the effects of hard water scale buildup on plumbing fixtures, appliances, and faucets by altering how minerals in the water behave. Over time, the media inside the ScaleSolver becomes depleted through normal use and is engineered to be replaced approximately every five years in order to continue performing effectively. Because water quality and hardness levels vary greatly by location and household usage, the ScaleSolver plays an important role in helping maintain the system’s overall performance and minimizing long-term scale accumulation throughout the home. Please contact our customer service team 626 792-9996 with your account information so we can review your system, answer your questions, and discuss your concerns further.
