My experience was made very easy and friendly being able to have a doctors appointment in the comfort of you own home is very nice

I had a very concerning experience with this psychiatrist. At my appointment, I told the doctor that I was already taking Seroquel and clonazepam. Despite this, I was prescribed another medication. After taking it, I experienced severe symptoms, including difficulty breathing and becoming extremely cold. It was one of the scariest experiences I’ve ever had. During the appointment, I wanted to look up information about the medication and its possible side effects, but the doctor told me not to Google it and to simply trust him. I felt that my concerns were dismissed instead of being addressed. After I experienced this reaction, I searched online for information about taking these medications together. The information I found indicated that the combination could be life-threatening, which made the experience even more frightening. This is what I found online after the fact and why I believe my concerns should have been taken more seriously. What disappointed me even more was that no one from the practice ever contacted me afterward to check on my condition or ask what had happened even though I messed them about it. I had to call them for them to respond. This review reflects my personal experience. I encourage anyone who is prescribed a new medication to ask questions, discuss potential drug interactions, and seek a second opinion if something doesn’t feel right.

My therapist, Dr Suri, is literally trying to save my life. He’s beyond genuine. I truly feel he cares. He’s given me numerous action items to work on. I’m currently at the lowest point in my life and I feel Dr Suri is the only person in this fight with me. I appreciate him greatly

They charge you at your weakest moments and use your mental health symptoms against you. I would NEVER EVER recommend Lifestance or Douglas Achtert in the Media, PA office. He relies on you to vent and if you are actually feeling good that day and have no current complaints, he will end the session early. Not use that time to ask deep questions or delve into the reasons why you are the way you are. No good solutions goven to problems either. Long awkward pauses while he struggles with what to say. Waste of time.

Trying to call And make an appointment is absolutely disgusting and disappointing with how they talk to people. Maybe being such a huge company they should take the time to properly train their intake center that they Are going to be working with people who have experienced traumatic situations and that they should not be so cold and rude. I would look elsewhere for mental health care.

The therapist I was assigned talked for 55 of the 60 minutes........just about himself. Zero progress visit 1 without a roadmap. Tried to cancel visit 2 but it requires a call to the office. Called in time, no answer. Called again at a time that made me 'late' and was charged $100 for what amounted to a $40.00 visit. The person I talked with neither listened to my complaint of no answer when 'compliant' and claimed its just our policy while being rude and without empathy at all. Run from this company. They're in business to get your money not solve any of your issues in my opinion.

Dr.Shah didn’t believe me when I stated outpatient therapy at Beckett Springs didn’t help me. She also didn’t advise me to wean off cymbalta which resulted in withdrawal symptoms. I was out of the country for a few weeks resulting in me getting refills out of the country. They didn’t have one of my meds in that country so the doctor gave me the closest thing. I messaged Dr.Shah to see if I could take the alternative med and she didn’t give me an answer. 4 days after my initial message to her another coworker in the office messaged me back and stated Dr.Shah would give me medical advice when I was back in the country. For a psychiatrist to leave a patient to figure out medications by themselves and to let a patient stop an anti- depressant cold turkey, is unethical. I would not trust Dr.Shah with your care.

The therapists are average but the company is TERRIBLE. Between billing issues and a patient portal that rarely works they are more than just difficult to work with. They have a “no exceptions” 48 cancellation policy for patients but have no problem with therapists canceling appointments at the last minute. They are the therapeutic equivalent of a McDonalds drive thru.

I saw Niel Talon for psychiatric medication management and didn't have the best experience. I felt dismissed and did not feel heard. He made me feel uncomfortable and like I was doing something wrong by asking for certain medications. Do not recommend.

I was running late cause of physical therapy i called to let them know i need to reschedule or i would be 10 minutes late immediately im met with 100 hundred dollar cancellation fee not will see you in 10 minutes or switch to Telehealth instead of arguing i just declined and said ill seek treatment else where
