My visit with Casey Lee, NP at LifeStance Health was genuinely encouraging. She came in fully prepared, clearly having read my history. Casey was thoughtful, thorough, and truly present. I left feeling understood, supported, and confident in the plan we made.
The counselor i was assigned to is a really good match for me. She is extremely educated and thorough during my sessions with her. She also shares the same faith as me and I know I was led to her by divine intervention most certainly. She's very easy to talk to. In the past I've really struggled to find a good fit for me or I'd get established with one only for them to up and quit and I'd have to start all over and it interfered with me getting the help I so desperately needed. How can we heal if we constantly have to start all over again. I pray she stays because she's great. Good match for sure. What a God send.
It was a positive experience. I feel that my doctor understands my condition.
Dorothy is insightful, a great listener, and has always treated me with respect. Looking forward to continuing with LifeStance for a long time. Thankfully it isn't just her that makes the experience great: In general LifeStance is professional, no-nonsense, has an easy website to navigate and deal with documents etc. Check-in is fast, links work. They nail the basics which is rare these days. Highly recommend.
I was told by my therapist through life stance that I could also see a psychiatrist and they could work together and I could receive better mental care. I decided to do this and I was assigned a doctor. I saw her one time and then I already had an appointment with my old doctor and I was going to tell her I was switching doctors to work with a team and she thought it was a great idea. She told me of some concerns she was having about some of my symptoms and advised me to change some medication. When I had my second appointment with my doctor and I told her what the other doctor said she said she wouldn't see me anymore. She suggested IOP, which I told her was impossible for my life right now. She said to go to local mental health, or back to my old doctor, which is through mobile recovery, and is supposed to be temporary. I apologized to the doctor, but I was confused about the medication I was on. I asked if I could see a different doctor in life stance and she told me she's not recommending that and ended our appointment without me getting the medication I need. Her name is Lyndsey Dunstan and my appointment was July 31st at 9:00. I thought she treated me terrible as a patient trying to figure out what medication to take. I have schizo effective disorder and I've been trying for two years to get stable mental health. I have a therapist in life stance who has changed my life. Rozana Kelly, and I appreciate life stance and would like to continue my mental health with them. But I'd really like someone to look into my appointment, that doctor told me to do everything but continue with life stance but I believe in your business and I believe it will work for me with the right doctor. I'm not giving up.
My experience with LifeStance Health, their counselors, and the therapists within their network has been wonderful! It has been helpful to have resources for a variety of needs in one place. The patient portal makes scheduling appointments, in person and virtual, and medication management very easy. I highly recommend LifeStance and my experience with both Jack Agen and Kora Vanek has been extremely helpful and productive!
The therapist was awesome and has been a great help. However, when i called to leave her a message they wanted me to choose who I would be voting for. Since I didn't answer the survey the system hung up. This is not acceptable. I had to call back. Im done with Life Stanz. None of their business who I would vote for.

It made it great because they listen they help you and they care and they are very easy and very comfortable and they do not look at you like you are on a different level. They treat you as a human being with respect and kindness and gratitude.
At first I was not placed with the right type of provider. After calling I was processed through intake for a better fit. Thus far it has been very helpful and the staff has been supportive and polite.
The first provider I was assigned to failed to research the medication I was on properly and gave me incorrect withdrawal instructions that ended up making me so sick that I was admitted to the Emergency Room. The second provider I was assigned to was cold, unfriendly, and made me very uncomfortable. On the other side of things, my valid insurance was ignored and I had to contact them three separate times over the course of several weeks to receive a refund. Additionally I had multiple negative experiences with unfriendly receptionists. Genuinely could not recommend less.

I logged onto my therapy session tonight and the therapist quit. Told me lifestance owes her 1000 of dollars & ended the session.

My experience with Colby Pacheco was deeply disappointing. Over an extended period of time, the communication often felt dismissive, rude, and unnecessarily aggressive. There was a noticeable lack of empathy, and genuine concerns frequently seemed to be met with little patience or understanding. A psychiatric provider should make patients feel heard, respected, and safe enough to be honest. Unfortunately, that was not the experience here. Being talked over, having concerns dismissed, and feeling like there was little interest in actually listening made it increasingly difficult to feel comfortable or trust the care being provided. After a significant amount of time, the overall experience left a very negative impression. Mental health care requires compassion and empathy—not just medication management.

My Psychiatrist listens closely and gently keeps me on point to make the best use of our time. She thoroughly considers all aspects regarding the circumstances of my condition. She doesn't just throw medication at me which I truly appreciate. She very effective at explaining treatment and helping to understand the whole body connection. She also is amazing about asking me about people I care about which for me is a huge part of my state of mind.

Providers are fine but the schedulers are terrible at providing suggestions for appropriate therapists. Dealing with their admin overall is terrible. Billing department is absolute hell. I've had to call multiple times to remove fees that collections had already agreed to waive. All cancellations, reschedulings and new appointments cannot be done online and have to happen over the phone. Even updating basic patient information, like preferred name (super transphobic btw) and address, requires a phone call. Avoid if possible. There are better therapy network alternatives out there like Grow and others.
