DO NOT give this criminal organization any money. They will quote a reasonable price, take your deposit, than a month later when they have not got your car picked up yet, they will stay the quote is 3 times higher and will not give your deposit back when you decline to pay the additional fees. Do not waste your time with this horrible company. They are criminals and belong in prison
ZERO STARS DO NOT RECOMMEND I’m only giving 1 star because I have to. I wouldn’t recommend this delivery service company to move me across the street. Not only do they say no hidden fees, they quote you a price and then call back with triple the amount. They also have hidden fees. When you say no to the exorbitant amount, they threaten to send you to collections. I am going to report them to Kansas Attorney General and I encourage others to do the same.
I am giving one star because I can’t give less. Dealing with Henry at the moment after my husband couldn’t. We are relocating to CA from MA and the initial quote to my husband was 700s which was unusually low for the same day or next day pick up. Of course the driver did not show up ‘because his car broke down.’ And oh, they had another driver closer to me who would ship for $1900. My husband wasn’t having it so I took over, explored other options and came back here with a benefit of doubt. Wueeehh!! Scammers run away!! The contract said $2000 with the balance 1900 to be given in CA. 5 minutes later, “The driver is on the way and am sending you his cashapp or Zelle for $500 upon pick up!! ICANT!! How are they allowed to continue operating with all this scamming!! I told him to cancel the driver and he told me he can’t because the driver is enroute. I even called the police to brace for this encounter and now here waiting for what is next. RUN, PLEASE RUN. Be warned!!
I would strongly caution anyone considering using Long Wheels LLC or working with Henry Miller based on my experience. I was quoted $540 to transport my vehicle. After they picked up the car, the price suddenly changed to $2,800—more than five times the original quote. At that point, my vehicle was already in their possession, leaving me with very few options. When it came time to receive my car, I was told I had to pay $800 by credit card and the remaining balance in cash before they would release the vehicle. I felt I had no practical choice but to pay in order to get my car back. In my opinion, this was a classic bait-and-switch. The quoted price was not honored, and the dramatic increase occurred only after they had possession of my vehicle. My experience left me feeling pressured and taken advantage of. If you are considering using Long Wheels LLC, I recommend getting every term in writing, verifying who the actual carrier will be, and being extremely cautious if the price changes after your vehicle has already been picked up. This review reflects my personal experience.
I was working with Alex and got a quote of $500. FIVE hours before the driver is scheduled to pick up our car, he gave me a call and said the price is going to be $900. He said the diesel prices went up and this “specific driver” is going to pick up our car for $900 only. We lost our $140 non refundable fee and we had to reschedule our whole journey. Scammers and not dependable people to say the least.
For the love of God, stay away from these people. First of all they do not pick up their primary phone number or answer emails. If they reach out to you via text when you ask for quotes, please ignore it. They have an Indian scammer who will tell you that they will have it delivered and they will put your shipment on the place where other transport companies and drivers can see, but they will low ball, and make a duplicate order and hijack it to make you pay more money and blame it on you. This place was awful and thankfully I was only scammed of the deposit which sucked... But I would highly recommend Auto Nexus Transport or some other highly regarded transport company.
Pay attention to how many negative reviews a company has. The red flags started immediately. They begin to be very persistent about signing a “booking confirmation” which is really a contract but they don’t disclose that. Read it thoroughly because in the contract it mentioned unusual conditions like acknowledging that prices can change and that the price you sign up for may not be the final price you pay which leaves room for an unexpected price increase. It mentions a non refundable deposit which is insane if you chose to cancel the service, and on top of that charge a cancellation fee! So they’ll grab $300 from you without providing any type of service. They also ask you to pay the remaining balance in cash only, weird. They’ll text you persistently throughout the day outside of typical business hours pushing you to sign the contract and then to pay the invoice to trap you into a service with them.
Stay away from this company. We accepted a shipment from them and later discovered it had been double brokered. Upon delivery, the actual owner of the motorcycle arrived with the title and confirmed he had already arranged transportation with another carrier. The broker who hired us had collected money from the customer and disappeared. Police had to be involved, and the motorcycle was released to its rightful owner. As a result, we completed the trip, wasted our time and resources, and never received payment. This company appears to have no proper verification process and works with questionable parties, putting carriers and customers at risk. If they are willing to hand loads to unverified brokers, your shipment and your money may not be safe. We strongly recommend carriers and customers do their due diligence before working with this company.
He quoted me $240, then told me $450, and in the end charged me $750 and threatened to withhold the shipment. I don't recommend him—don't use him; you'll regret it if you do. I ended up paying three times as much.
I got a quote for 290.00 to take a motorcycle from Indiana to SC The pick up date was Friday May 29 I called Friday to confirm the pick up only to be told that the truck broke down The next pick up was supposed to be Tuesday Tuesday came and went with no pick up I had no choice but to book with another carrier They picked up my bike 5 hours after I called them This is now Wenesday June 3rd Bike should be here tomorrow morning Now Long Wheels wants to charge me for a cancellation fee They didn't honor their end of the deal STAY AWAY
DO NOT BOOK, THIS IS A SCAMMER AND FRAUD COMPANY. Alex and Henry both have poor communication skills. This company is full of scammers. I was originally quoted $490 with a scheduled pick up date booked well in advance. The week of, I didn’t receive any updates or hear from Henry. I kept calling and reaching out just to get the run around with my pick up date. They kept changing the time and date. Once they’ve finally “found a driver” the day of, my price went up an additional $1000 which I did not agree to. I’ve voiced that it doesn’t work for me, and I was told that they would keep looking for another driver. I’ve voiced that I wanted to cancel and get a refund. Henry refused to give me a refund, instead wanted to argue back and forth with me. I’ve disputed the charge and that’s when Alex got involved. When Alex first called me, he was argumentative and even made threats. Once he calmed down, he asked me to cancel the dispute and stated that he would give me my refund. I canceled, waiting a month or 2, still no refund so I re disputed it. Now I’ve discovered that Alex and this company created false documentation and forged myself and my siblings signature stating that they’ve picked up my vehicle and dropped it off which is incorrect. They’ve NEVER came and got my vehicle, never inspected it, and now they’re still lying about the process. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
This company is not trustworthy. The driver did not respond to calls regarding the pickup of my vehicle, kept my deposit, and refused to issue a refund. The vehicle was never picked up, and my signature was forged on multiple documents. I strongly advise others to avoid booking with this company
I would advise carefully evaluating Long Wheels LLC before using their services. My experience with this company involved a significant change to the quoted transportation cost. Alex initially quoted me $340 to transport my vehicle, and based on that quote, I made plans and scheduled the pickup. However, less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup date, Alex informed me that he did not have any drivers available to complete the transport. Shortly afterward, he stated that he had found a driver, but the price would be $1,000 instead of the original $340 quote. This price increase occurred less than a day before the scheduled pickup, after arrangements had already been made based on the original quote. Clear communication and consistent pricing are important when shipping a vehicle. In my case, the original quote was not available at the time of pickup, and the revised pricing was communicated shortly before the scheduled transport date. As a customer, I expect companies to honor their quotes when possible and communicate any changes as early as possible. My experience with Long Wheels LLC did not meet those expectations. I would encourage anyone considering this company to obtain all pricing details in writing and review alternative transport providers before making a decision.
Terrible experience and customer service. They delayed my shipment by over a month and charged me an extra $500 which I did not approve. Do not trust this company they are scammers who wont pick up your car or treat you like a person. Alex made promises week after week and when i tried to end the service he would not allow me to and now promises me with a refund i still havent received. Worst company EVER!!
A total scam! After delaying the pick up by a week they tried to increase the quote amount. I ended up having to pay heavy storage fee charges. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!
