Had a really enjoyable day at the Belfast antiques road show venue last week. Very courteous staff throughout. Crowd control was in place and left it very comfortable to move from one valuation station to the other. A microphone would have been helpful to hear the valuers. All in all a very positive experience had.

Our tickets said we couldn't bring anything. When we got there the queue was long and when we got in there was nothing much going on. Given the amount of BBC people on the site you'd have thought they could have devoted one person to explain how it worked at the entrance. Another reason to not pay the licence fee.
Clear direction from volunteers, security staff, pleasant and helpful. When it started to rain ponchos were offered, conversations were had with people, relaxed atmosphere. Queues were long for miscellaneous items, but moved quite quickly.
We attended Belfast recordingand had a wonderful time at the Botanic gardens. Everyone at the venue was helpful and kind. The queue moved efficiently and the people were friendly, funny and enjoying the experience. The experts were friendly and accommodating for photos and chatter. The film people were very professional. The heavens opened in the afternoon but it was too late we'd already had a brilliant experience!
Great day out, all the staff at the venue were helpful and informative. The film crew were very nice and it was a great pleasure to meet all the stars.
Great day out in Belfast. The team at Antiques Roadshow were very professional and friendly there was a wonderful air of calm and ease about the experience. Yes it rained all afternoon but that should surprise nobody in NI, the entire crews, teams and experts worked on unfazed and friendly stewards issued those who required them with free ponchos. Antique advice was interesting and the experts welcoming. Lovely to have been there and experience the show first hand. The fact it was free to attend was an added bonus. Thank you!
Antiques Roadshow Belfast. Had a very enjoyable afternoon at the show until the heavens opened. It was quite an operation seeing everything being set up and watching re-recording when it did not go to plan. It would have been useful if the experts had some form of sound mechanism as they were difficult to hear. There was much going on and lots to watch. Would definitely go again if it came back to N.I.
Booked to see recording of Never Mind the Buzzcocks. They oversold tickets by so much that they started turning people away more than 30 mins before the doors closed. Avoid and go and do something else.
I went to the recording of BBC ANTIQUES ROADSHOW in Ealing at Pitzhanger Manor. It was very well organised indeed and made use of the volunteers at the manor house (with new sashes and hats!) and also had good teams of security and BBC filming crews and staff. This had to be a timed ticketed event because of the size of the venue and the popularity of the show. The sun shone and the queues were not too long and you also had some access to the manor house. There were some stalls for refreshments and local honey! The whole event was pleasant and friendly and a great experience.
First time I've been to Sky Studios. It was well organised and felt we were well looked after by the crew.
As a massive Game of Thrones / House of the Dragon fan it was an absolute privilege to be involved in the filming of the War Room show. I really enjoyed the episode, the cast were fantastic and Sue Perkins really engaged with the audience. I'd love to go and do something like this again and am really looking forward to seeing the program when it airs.
It was a great experience and would be interested in attending other roadshows as a spectator as opposed to getting items valued. The location did not have car parking facilities which makes it difficult if bringing items for valuations plus the whole day was spent queuing for the paintings, miscellaneous, jewellery and ceramics. Minimum queue time 1.5 hours and ceramics nearly double that. Plus the queue stops when the experts go off for lunch or filming. We were lucky with the weather at Pitzhanger and the refreshments available was okay albeit quite expensive. I would recommend the experience despite the above.
Attended the recording of House of Dragon: War Room at Sky Studios and the experience was first class. Was made to feel welcomed as soon as I arrived and the staff were very helpful.
My first visit to AR Show! Attended with Spectator ticket so could browse the various expert valuation sites at leisure without queuing. Sunny weather contributed to a very interesting and friendly event.
Would love to go again
The Antiques Roadshow is one of our favourite programmes on TV, so we were delighted when we were able to attend Pitzhanger Manor. Our tickets were for 9am entry and so we were able to enter before the later crowds arrived and that made it easier to have our pieces valued and then enjoy watching the filming and hearing the experts giving their opinion on the article on review. I was also lucky enough to have my photograph taken with Fiona Bruce who was charming. Altogether a day to remember with lots of precious photographs.
I went on my own and spent a lot of time queuing but the weather was great, the atmosphere friendly and the event was extremely well organised. I would happily go again next time with friends and a picnic! All the stewards were very genuine and happy to chat to people.
