What people say

After a few email exchanges the company The company has offered to send me another pair- I will update when they arrive

I wore my new overalls to plant strawberries and immediately the straps kept falling down no matter what I did because the hardware wouldn’t stay closed. I called a friend to help and nothing seemed to work My phone dropped out in the weeds which then required me spending about 30 minutes looking for it I have reached out to customer service and they asked for photos which I have sent to them

Only buy the work clothes they advertise

If you are buying their original overall pants you will be happy with the product. However, on their website they also sell other items that looks good in the photo claims it to be 100% cotton but they are not. You will receive polyester fabric with no material and made information on the clothes that looks cheap and feel cheap you cannot wear. If you try to complain and try to those fake items they will tell you that they are 100%. If you are going to buy anything from this store only buy those work pants they show in the advertisement and nothing else.

Too bad if yr package is stolen

Ordered on 12/12. My package arrived 12/21 n we were not home. Back and do not see my package. Wrote customer service to check and was forwarded to the delivery service. Wrote to them and reply was basically, too bad, report police, nothing we can do. Unless you know when is your delivery and you can receive the package, else do NOT order from them.

NO RETURNS/EXCHANGES — unless u want to $ for shipping to CHINA

MadePants is schizophrenic. On the one hand, it sells fantastic American-styled overalls + some other well-curated items. Website states MadePants sells "Stunning + Unique Clothing" ...that can also be found on TEMU/SHEIN/AMAZON. Let your customers be the judge of what "stunning" entails. "CUSTOMER SERVICE" is a SHIT SHOW. I had to cross-communicate between WhatsApp and email since I wasn't getting a response to my emails. If you're texting via WhatsApp, they respond only after 8 p.m. PCT, which meant I was getting phone calls when I was asleep at 10:30/11 p.m. NOT even bothering to note my area code indicates I live in an EST zone. I was told they respond in order of sequence. You would think they would prioritize call backs according to time zones. SIZING: Inconsistent. Despite their website featuring a size guide, their clothing comes from multiple manufacturers, so sizing is all over the map. I emailed MadePants several times asking for help w/sizing before ordering to no avail = CRICKETS for DAYS, then responses that were not helpful (my guess is that they were avoiding helping me because they didn't want to be responsible for ill-fitting items, which is a highly likely scenario since SIZES are INCONSISTENT). When the items I ordered didn't fit, I crafted a clear + well laid out email re RETURNs or EXCHANGEs. NO response for DAYS. I had to forward the original email several times, letting them know I was still waiting for help —I even apologized for "pestering" but I was concerned that the exchange items would run out of my size. When they did respond, it was as if my previous email that I painstakingly crafted wasn't read despite taking the time to write a highly "scannable" email, separating what needed to be returned vs exchanged to minimize confusion, and make it easy for them to understand my ask(s) at a glance. Yet I was asked questions that were clearly answered in the original email. Finally, when someone addressed my requests for an exchange — "Small" vs a "Medium" — the gist of the response was "What's the issue with the fit?" RETURNS/EXCHANGES: CUSTOMERS MUST PAY FOR SHIPPING TO CHINA. NO HELP. Better off buying from aforementioned companies as not only are the CHEAPER but they have proper return/exchange policies. WEBSITE states: "As part of our search for quality pieces, we’ve made it our mission to provide unique/stunning one of a kind pieces that run true to size and are built to our quality standards. Those beautiful pieces that you can wear for years!" This is true ONLY of the mens + some women's overalls. The rest is cheap crap you can buy on TEMU/SHEIN/AMAZON for much LESS. I happened to find one of their "unique/stunning one of a kind pieces that run true to size..." on AMAZON. Same item had poor reviews. Why? Because the sizing was all off. Despite MadePants' website having a lot of seemingly helpful info on sizing, what good is that when they apply one guide to items made by different manufacturers? IF you are in the market for quality overalls this is a find— much of the rest can be 1. found at a notably lower price 2. W/helpful return/exchange policies and 3. Timely + Responsive Customer Service via TEMU, AMAZON. I cannot speak for SHEIN as I haven't shopped there. Ironically, I try to avoid shopping via Amazon* and, until recently, I haven't shopped via TEMU, and I've never shopped via Shein. *Amazon was just found to be guilty of the same denial of adequate health care that UnitedHealthCare has been exposed for. *Beware that TEMU has multiple sellers selling the EXACT same items at different prices, can only return ONE item per order...so split the most $ items onto different orders of $35 for free shipping. DON'T fall for "Almost Sold Out" pressure tactics that are coordinated according to your time zone = the later it is, the more pressure. One of the items I was eyeing "SOLD OUT" but was not sold out the next morning. Although my overalls deserve 5 STARs, MadePants bombs because their statement: "As part of our search for quality pieces, we’ve made it our mission to provide unique/stunning one of a kind pieces that run true to size and are built to our quality standards. Those beautiful pieces that you can wear for years!" ...is TOTAL BS unless you're buying the American-style overalls — everything else you're better off buying at the aforementioned retailers because 1. You know what you're getting at 2. Notably lower prices with 3. Helpful return/exchange policies and 4. Responsive customer service that is timely.
