Wrong size picked based on ChatGPT. Totally my bad on this one, but as insurance, I paid the extra charge on ordering the shoe (which I thought was for a free return?). Regardless, I had to return the shoes to get a larger size. I normally wear a 11.5 or 12 and ordered a 10 or 10.5 (I don't remember now). Regardless, it was definitely too small, and I had to pay the $13 restocking fee, and the shipment wasn't sent until after the shoes returned to the warehouse. I re-ordered one full size larger. They definitely are nice, and I actually don't know if I should have bought a 1/2 size larger. It should likely be fine after they break in. I guess only time will tell on this...which I will buy myself a brown pair as well, along with a matching Meermin brown belt.
