Excellent shoes

Inconsistent Quality Control

First pair I received had poor stitching on the vamp such that the vamp was separating from the loafer. I exchanged these for another pair. The second pair had inconsistent heel cups such that one heel would slip out of the loafer while the other did not. I then exchanged for another pair. The third pair had glue residue on the footbed and the shoe bag was missing from the package. I was told that the remaining adhesive had no impact on the loafer, however the previous two pairs did not have this issue. The materials of the loafer were great, but the quality control was poor.

Suede Loafers Great...wire brush MIA as a gift

I purchased a pair of suded loafers at the Meermin store in SoHo. I am in NYC on business, but I made a special side trip to try these loafers on in person; I had seen them online and they looked great. The salesman was professional and knowledgable. I purchased them, and then I asked the store manager for a wire brush, the used on at the desk, for maintainance of my new suede loafers, but the manager declined my request and asked that I purchased it for $15. I thought that was short-sighted in that I had traveled to their store with a bit of effort. Some managers see the big picture, some don't.

Company communication and delivery service were great. I had to return and exchange for a smaller size; however, my heel kept slipping out even though they fit correctly. I had to return them.
