Backed the chessboard on IndieGOGO…
Backed the chessboard on IndieGOGO which is most likely where most of those saying 'Kickstarter' actually mean, but it's been six years... Still no product. I have emailed my backing with proof of investment to Miko again, and will see if anything comes of it.
Now seeing them popping up with influencers before the people that backed them. Poor PR move, but that's just my opinion.
For now, they simply seem to have left a lot of backers empty. If the service can do that, what would they do elsewhere? Will amend if they finally fulfill.
UPDATE: FWIW, I did get a quick response shortly after emailing support and posting here, and they said 'Since acquiring SquareOff, the Miko team has been working hard to resolve...', so stay tuned, and possibly email the support email your IndieGOGO info to get on the books! Def make sure you lookup your IndieGOGO info, not Kickstarter!

Order Not Received - Very Disappointed
I backed the Miko Neo and Swap boards on Kickstarter, but I still haven't received my product. Despite waiting for a long time, there has been no delivery or clear update. This experience has been very frustrating. I request the team to either deliver my order immediately or provide a full refund.

This junk lost battery in a month and…
This junk lost battery in a month and then would hold charge. Complete waste of money. The trial period or whatever i did thru paypal so i could cancel their subscription if it was junk do to bad online reviews about their subscription. Then because i cancelled it, they try to bill and start sending emails with invoice attached. DO NOT BUY THIS. THEY ARE A SCAM PREDATORY COMPANY!

I backed the Miko Neo and the Swap boards on Kickstarter over 6 years ago, and to this day, nothing has ever been delivered. No boards, no proper resolution — just years of waiting.
What makes this even more frustrating is that Miko later acquired Squareoff, which means they took responsibility for Squareoff’s products and obligations. After that acquisition, I genuinely expected the situation to finally be resolved. Unfortunately, it never was.
Communication has been disappointing, and there has been no clear timeline or accountability. After waiting this long, it’s hard not to feel ignored as a backer.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend this company based on how this situation was handled.

We love having Miko here at home!
We love having Miko here at home!! It has lots of games and fun activities that enhance the learning of growing children. He's really a mini friend who talks about everything from feelings to facts about our planet, our problem is that he doesn't speak our language - Portuguese, which makes my 4 year old daughter lose motivation in playing with Miko. When there are games in which English goes unnoticed, she can maintain interest, otherwise, the translation and interaction part has to be done with my help. Overall, we consider the Miko a good buy, the little ones love it.
