Scam has a new name - avoid this app
Unfortunately a star must be given, but this app does not deserve one.
Serious concern this is a scam, they simply charge your card silently , no reminder/warning a charge would hit your card - I struggle to understand how my subscription never showed on my Apple Subscription List and they were still able to charge me - under UK Law we have the cooling off period that also applies for subscription renewals, as this app has no representatives in the UK and is based in HK, you are left with this shady business, you can contact them - or Emma which seems to be how everyone is named in their business or it is their bot - avoid all you can - all those apps that offer a trial are on the same boat, they silently charge you and because they are a UK business nothing can be done - unsure how apple allows a business in their platform that does not operate according to local legislation!

Scam Company…….beware!!!!!
I signed up for the $4.99 trial then I was immediately offered further purchases. I did not realise that clicking the ‘next’ button automatically purchased these extras, I thought I was just scrolling past them!!! So I have now been charged a further $34.99. & $12.99!!!
I have started a dispute with PayPal to hopefully claim my money back.
Please beware!!!!!
They charged me additional amount from what I intended to pay. I’ve been emailing them constantly since yesterday that I made the payment by mistake. They haven’t responded to me or refunded back my amount. Do not use this app. It’s a scam. I’ll be taking legal action against this app if they don’t respond or refund my money back
I would give nil stars if i could, do not join, it is a scan. I joined for a 1 month subscription for $10, 5 days later they took another $68 for 2 extra subscriptions I did not sign up for. You get no reply to cancel or to get your money back.

Do not join this app. They lock you in amd you can't cancel unless it falls under there strict guidelines. They claimed I had 2 accounts under that same email. One wasn't cancelled so they kept charging me. Complete garbage! Horrible company!

SAME-DAY CANCELLATION, NO REFUND FROM MUSCLE MONSTER. I bought the 12-Month Premium plan on May 26, 2026, and cancelled it the same day because the app did not work for me.
Cancellation only stopped renewal; it did not refund the annual charge.
Support refused to provide a refund and instead offered exchanges to other apps/products, extra membership time, and later sent basic cancellation instructions even though I had already cancelled. The tone was dismissive and sarcastic.
Apple approved the refund. Muscle Monster did not. Based on my experience, I would avoid this company’s annual subscriptions and related products entirely!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM. They charge me $93 over a three-month period for some crap additional called "Sleep Smarter Free Plan - Free Trial" that I never requested. It's impossible to get a response from their service support, since they don't answer any emails. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this SCAM og you can lose big time. Read other people's reviews. They are scamming everyone.

If you are searching “MuscleMonster app review”, “is MuscleMonster a scam”, or “MuscleMonster refund” – read this before you give them a single penny.
This app is, in my experience, completely misleading and potentially dangerous. Fake “AI Personal Trainer” – Not Personalised at All The MuscleMonster app claims to use AI to create a personalised fitness plan.
I completed their questionnaire and clearly stated:
I am disabled I have one leg I have serious back issues
The result? It told me to do SQUATS - Followed by LEG RAISES. That is not “AI”. That is generic, recycled content with zero regard for user safety.
Anyone searching “MuscleMonster AI review” – don’t be fooled. There is nothing intelligent or personalised about it. Refund Refused – Money Taken, No Accountability
After seeing how unsafe and inappropriate the plan was, I requested a refund. Refund REFUSED. No proper support. No accountability If you are looking up “MuscleMonster refund policy”, be warned – you may not get your money back.
Who Is Behind MuscleMonster? No Transparency
Tried to find out who actually runs this app. It appears linked to: TechPioneers Limited - Daily Fitness Technology PTE. LTD. Beyond that? there is no clear ownership, no identifiable Directors and its an offshore structure. You are effectively handing money to an unknown entity with no accountability. You could be handing your money to terrorists, organised crime network, sex traffickers, drug dealers - literally anybody.
This app shows multiple red flags: - Misleading “AI” claims - Unsafe, generic fitness advice - Refusal to refund - Lack of transparency

The subscription is a SCAM!
- multiple payments processed while only one trial was agreed upon;
- no easy cancellation available, only via e-mail to which they don't respond.
Just don't try this, just move on and look for a more respectable company.
Thanks to the excellent support department I was able to get a refund for a program I didn’t register for- it was probably due to a typo error on my part / so thank you Emma
I registered for a 4 week trial period at a discount
And was charged 3 times! Once for the trial period , and twice for 2 programs i did not register for !
I am still trying to get a complete refund and it’s quite frustrating

Just awful! Nowhere to cancel subscription!
I took the free trial thinking that I’d be able to cancel it easily if I wanted to. Due to lack of time I couldn’t commit to the exercises so decided to cancel. There is NOWHERE to cancel within the app!! It takes you straight to an email which at the time I didn’t have time to write as I wasn’t home. The time needed to write an email is just something that’s so unnecessary and unfair. Today of course, I was charged $29.99. They MUST add a cancellation button!! Don’t use this app. It’s unethical and a total scam! Just awful.

I did not want to renew this…
I did not want to renew this membership. I only used it for a week and did not. I think it was for me I guess because I didn't have my glasses. I did not see the fine print that said they would automatically renew it eight times the trial price the next month! And when I asked them to reverse it, I didn't get any response in PayPal. Said it was settled in favor of the seller. I can't believe this. I'm retired and my income is very valuable and $50 a month us for this program for me is absolutely ridiculous. Dishonest Merchant
When you pay for $18.99, as mentioned in Apple payment, they charge you an extra amount, $12.99 for me without any transparency. Cannot cancel subscription through Apple Pay, and have to send them email and wait for their reply.
