It was quick to get a response, but they tried to sell me a loan with over 33% APR. Loan sharking baloney. If I wanted to pay that kind of vig, I’d just go see my local mobster. These guys are crooks.

What a scam! I've been trying to reset my password using my Gmail acct as registered. They wont do it. Insist that I log in with Google sorry, you can't have all my info via my Google/Gmail account. Will be reporting you for fraud with all the appropriate state and federal agencies

I've used Nerdwallet in the past for their articles, and reviews. I've used their rate check tool once in the past, many years ago. I submitted what I thought was a rate inquiry, but that was a massive mistake. They lead you down a happy little form that opens you up to endless, ceaseless spam calls, AI voice messages, & bull-sh1t. Nerdwallet's support will not help you cease those calls. They state they will "de-activate your lead", but that does nothing to stop the calls. They state "you need to reach out to those lenders to tell them you're not interested". So they open you up the jungle of AI-powered crap, and leave you on your own. I had to pay for Incogni just to abate some of it, but it's not a silver bullet. Awful experience, for nothing. Never again using Nerdwallet for anything, and wil actively dissuade others from using them.
