Numeral is amazing. Talk about a one-click solution to get rid of all sales tax headaches. On top of that, the team that I worked with - Ben Rapson, Gabriela, and Nia Gorbunova made me feel welcome to the organization and walked me through any onboarding issues I had. 10/10 would recommend to any dtc or ecommerce operator.

As my e-commerce business grew and began reaching tax thresholds in multiple states, I realized I needed expert assistance to remain compliant. I am very pleased to have found Numeral. They have been fantastic to work with, providing clear communication and making it easy to resolve all of our tax issues.
Sales Tax without the headache
We switched to Numeral for several D2C companies we own or manage because our existing providers were not easy to work with. To start, Numeral does white glove migrations, making switching seamless and quick. Also, their data is much more accurate than the providers we worked with for many years. Numeral also has great customer service for when you do have questions. Overall, so glad we found Numeral to eliminate the sales tax headache.
One of the worst customer experiences…
One of the worst customer experiences I've EVER had. They want you to self service, so I pay $150 and get the ball rolling. 2 Months later still not registered. They won't email me back and I've paid them. Whoever runs onboarding and CS needs to be chopped.
Avalara is a nightmare, Numeral is Fantastic!
I found Numeral after a disastrous rollout with Avalara. Avalara completely botched our entire setup, and Numeral was nothing but attentive in working with us. They are a newer company, so they're still gaining their stride. Their AI customer service bot rollout disconnected me with our support team for a few days, but we eventually got that all resolved, and they have gone above and beyond for us ever since then.
Love Numeral!
I’ve been using Numeral for nearly a year, and it’s been a huge time saver. After managing sales tax myself for over eight years, the workload had grown to the point where handling corporate tax, sales tax, HST, and more was almost a full-time job. What used to take 20+ hours each month now takes me less than an hour. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, and their customer support has been consistently responsive and helpful.
We love Numeral!
We have been using Numeral for just over a year now and our experience has been great! The person who onboarded us stayed in touch during the transit from our old sales tax filing system until Numeral fully took over- ensuring it all went smoothly. Communication was fast when getting Numeral access to all state portals to remit on our behalf as well as make any changes. When emailing support, the first 9/10 months- responses were very quickly given back to myself with action/ next steps. The last few months responses have been slower but our inquiries are still being handled. Numeral has taken a huge work load off my plate and I love how our bank is connected to the state directly so we are not paying a middle man to pay our taxes- we can see how much we are paying each state each month/ quarter very easily! Highly recommend Numeral for your sales tax needs!

Great experience so far! It's nice to not have to worry about figuring out taxes in all the different states. The team has been easy to work with and helpful. I'd recommend to any business in growth mode.
