My West Highland White Terrier from Pawrade, Leland, is beautiful and perfect for me. There are so many scammer out there it is so hard to find a good place to buy a quality pet. The initial contact is nothing short of amazing. However, as times goes and get ready to send the puppy your way, the contact diminishes considerably. The puppy was supposed to fly out and arrive a week ago on Saturday at 10:30am. Since we live 3 hours from the only airport offered, I tried getting a confirmation on Friday. I received a reply around 2:30pm that I should hear back within the hour. Didn’t happen. I called! I sent texts! I sent emails! Finally at around 10:30pm, someone finally answered and said she wasn’t ready and it would be about 3 more days due to getting vet clearance. Got it! Finally, at least an answer! A week later on Friday morning, I leave out at 6:30am to the airport to meet the “nanny” at 10:30am. Unaware at the time, I get an email at 8:54AM that says to bring a printed copy of this email and take certain pictures for proof of delivery. Obviously, I didn’t get it! The “nanny” finally arrived and we met just outside the exit door. He handed me the carrier and asked me to take her out so that HE could take a picture! I did! He asked for my ID and took a picture of it. He was in a rush and said, “the paperwork he sent me with is in the side pocket! Enjoy your new puppy!” And he left! So this email that was sent asks me to sign that I followed the steps, including taking a picture and submitting it as soon as I picked up the puppy and that I had taken the time to review all documents before the nanny left. I cannot sign that because it’s not true. This guy was in such a hurry, he wasn’t going to wait. I have been calling and texting Pawrade since to discuss this and NO ONE is replying back. Although we love our puppy, I am highly disappointed in the service “after the sale”, especially for the price we paid. I am going to keep calling until someone answers. This may be their way of voiding a contract for health or other reasons, but I cannot confirm that yet.
We do apologize for any lapses in communication. But since this post, all the issues have been addressed and explained. We will never send out a pup unless it has a head to toe exam by a USDA licensed Veterinarian. The breeder had difficulty getting the pup to the vet, we were trying to get this done leading to the delay. Ultimately we were unable to accomplish the vet visit in time for the pup to travel on the original date. There are two delivery documents. One is completed at the actual time of delivery and typically the delivery service provides it as was the case here. We do send the document by email to the customers and ask them to bring a copy with them just in case. The second document sent as delivery approaches is an e-sign document that can be replied to anytime after delivery. Our contracted flight nannies often have very tight schedules. This may occasionally lead to them being a bit hurried to complete the delivery. If this was the case we certainly do apologize and we have made the contracted company management aware. We are happy that the pup made it to you safe and sound and we greatly appreciate you choosing Pawrade to help you find the perfect pup for you!

The company did everything that they said they would do. They kept me undated everyday on my puppy. They are definitely a professional company and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a puppy. My new puppy is at his new home now and is doing awesome.

Pawrade did a great job communicating with us from the very first step of choosing our precious cocker spaniel ( Sandy Anne) . Starting with the purchasing...to the updates about location of her and the pickup procedures. ( My wife and I decided to pick her up.) It would be no other way with us. Pawrade helped to put together a plan to pick her up from the breeder and gave us as list of all the medical info we needed to have. My wife and I drove from Columbus Ohio to 100 miles west of St. Louis to pick up our angel. The Breeder was awesome..and so is our Sandy Anne!!
