As previously stated, the final outcome was great, it was just getting there. Every time I called or texted no one knew anything and they passed the buck. I will get a response of oh that's the Breeders to respond to or that's all up to the air nanny. I don't believe that anyone is to blame I think all is to blame everyone should be on the same page and everyone should have the same information. So what is needed is it General location of where the process is to where whoever you're asking the question they can just go and see what's next. Because every time I text it I got finger pointing. Like I said in the beginning the outcome was great. Ty!
The entire process to include delivery of my Puppy
Hey Deb, short and sweet. Thank you for choosing Pawrade! Best wishes.
We had the best experience with finding and getting our new puppy! Everyone made this experience so easy and delightful. There is someone to assist you with every step along the way. I have already even recommended friends and family members to purchase dogs through Pawrade. Thank you so, so much for everything!
Every step was smooth, was asked to call with any questions after explaining process. Puppy arrived after a 22 hour drive, very happy and healthy. Driver text updates on how many hour and when to expect arrival. Can’t say enough good things. They obviouly VET their breeders and buyers. Safe, secure and easy. Make the call to find just what you are looking for. Five stars!!
Pawrade is a wonderful service, all inclusive for getting a puppy. The communication was outstanding, the staff professional and accommodating. This was my first time using their services and i highly recommend it!!
The condition of the animal was excellent, especially after the long trip.
Concerning the Pawrade people, Emma, the first contact, & deal-closer, was a very nice person. Lois, my puppy liaison, was amazing. She was always available and helpful, replying the same day, if my questions were posed Monday through Friday. Reagean, the travel coordinator got Zoey connected with an air flight nanny within a day of her final veterinary exam. The flight nanny service was the weak link to getting our puppy smoothly home only because they fly standby. The nanny started from Atlanta the morning of the transfer, flying into Springfield, MO, arriving to pick up Zoey who was delivered at 11 am to the airport, allegedly be on an 11:38 am flight out of Springfield airport, an impossible task. The rest of the day was one delay after another because of the standby rule and when it was clear that the nanny was going to have to give this 11-week-old, 2-pound puppy back to the breeder to be transported on another day, I paid for a flight from Springfield to Seattle out of pocket for confirmed seating on top of the flight nanny fee. Only because of that, did we get our puppy on time. Don’t use the flight nannies unless there is a nonstop flight from the breeder’s city to yours and even then because of standby seating, the puppy’s arrival home may be bumped to a different day. However, the flight nanny, himself, was awesome. One change I suggest: Pawrade needs to give itemized invoices showing exactly what you paid for, not just a total. My puppy had a sunny personality at 6 weeks, with a furiously wagging tail, based on the video I was sent. The same people-oriented, happy puppy arrived home to us, healthy as promised. Ray, the breeder, and Kim, his assistant, were great to work with. My puppy was raised in a kennel which is not the same as being raised in a home, so be aware of that. Some breeders have dozens of adults they are breeding, and many puppies listed on Pawrade are from such kennels. Ask questions about all of the details of the puppy you want, health of the parents, how is the puppy being raised, exact weight, date when they might be first able to be home, and talk to the breeder before you pay for a puppy. Get photos of the parents and if AKC registered, get the lineage of the parent dogs, and videos of your puppy.
Thank you for the very detailed review. We are sure many folks will find it helpful. And we always appreciate any constructive criticism and take it as an opportunity to improve our processes. We are happy to hear that your pup arrived happy and healthy. Best wishes for many fun filled days to come.
Easy to do , great way to get a fur baby
Hey Mike, short and sweet. Thank you for choosing Pawrade!
Absolutely love this company head to tails!!
Hey Debbie, we are so happy to hear that you are so happy. Thank you for trusting Pawrade.
We really loved Pawrade and have told several people about it since we had such a great experience. I loved the prompt communication and fast response times to any questions, I loved the transparency for the transportation in the guidance for ground transportation versus air (we had no idea and assumed Air would be quicker and less stressful, but that is wrong!) Our driver was very great and sent many updates and photos leading up to arrival. It's clear that Pawrade cares about using very good breeders that care a lot about the health and wellness of their dogs, which means a lot to us. Overall, the experience was much easier than I would have expected for such a large and committing purchase. I do wish payment was in the same location because the transaction details in PetPay were not itemized and caused a little confusion about which extras I paid for.
Hey Dan, we really do work so hard to make the process smooth and stress free for our wonderful customers. We are so happy to hear all went so well for you and your new furry family member. Thank you for choosing Pawrade and best wishes.
They made getting my new puppy easy and I really appreciate all the information on the puppy and the 3 yr health guarantee.
Hey Mary, thank you for the kind words and thank you for trusting Pawrade to help you find the perfect pup for you. Best wishes.
My Cavapoo puppy arrived after a three-day trip from somewhere in MO (August 21) and was severely lethargic. I thought that she might have been sedated, however three to four hours later she began having bouts of severe bloody diarrhea and was very weak. I took her to a nearby 24 hour veterinarian hospital in DC and she was tested and found positive for parvovirus. I transferred her to another hospital for treatment (where the cost of the treatment > than 5000 would be covered by a rescue team). There they began an intensive that included stabilization and an a antigen parvovirus regimen. Unfortunately this was to no avail. She died later that evening (Aug 22) after 6 hours of very focused treatment. The vet who diagnosed her originally and treated her said it was clear from the timeline that she had parvovirus when she was picked up at the breeder and likely showed some early symptoms, though a vet gave her an okay to travel on the 15th. days. She was transported with other animal which must have had an effect on those animals as well. She was only 8 weeks old (less than 2 pounds) to the day. Clearly too young to be put up for sale with all kinds of health guarantees which unfortunately will not recover any of the costs not to mention the life of this adorable puppy.
At the beginning of July 2026 we looked into buying a puppy thru Pawrade on the internet. We connected with someone there and were going to buy a havanese named Pudding. This was on July 6. After giving my credit card for a deposit on the evening of July 6th we thought more seriously about it and read some really bad reviews about them. That they sell sick dogs and don’t follow up if there is a problem. The list goes on and on. We called the first thing in the morning on July 7th to cancel. By that time they had already made plans with the breeder and said they couldn’t do anything to cancel. Since when does a 12 hour lapse constitute a done deal? Dont we have some protection due to changing our minds? We told them our concerns and they said it was too late. As a result we tried to fight it with our Visa credit card and it has been a month and they decided we are going to lose $600. We certainly cannot afford to lose the money since we are retired living on social security and if we went ahead with that purchase it would have been a monthly expense we would have had to endure. We are now out the $600 and have no recourse to get it back. We had just lost our 8 yr old havanese right before this happened and we were very distraught over it. At that point we wanted so badly to get another dog that we rushed into it with Pawrade. They must have known we were distraught because they were very fast to ask for a deposit and to brag about how wonderful their puppies are. Meanwhile all their connection with the puppies was thru the breeder sending them a picture. Never do they see or examine the dog. Pawrade is just an in between seller who raves about how wonderful their breeders are. How would they know. They don’t even vet them. I heard so many reports about people adopting sick dogs and Pawrade wouldn’t do anything about it. Their 3 yr health guarantee is a joke. According to reviews they prorate the guarantee and look for excuses not to pay or return money. They are very pushy and as far as we are concerned have no consideration about the dogs welfare. Most of their reviews are unsubstantiated and they use Trustpilot to back them up. Beware if u want to adopt a puppy thru this company. U would be much better off getting a dog from a qualified breeder on your own and seeing the dog first. They don’t even let u come get the puppy. They arrange for a truck to come to your selected location (along with a bunch of other dogs at the same time) and drop it off in a small crowded cage like it was a bread delivery. This to me sounds like puppy mill business. There are enough bad reviews warning the same thing but u won’t see much on line because they are careful to censor the bad reviews. When this purchase was going on they had many bad reviews that have since disappeared and only pix with smiling people holding cute puppies remain. The real story has been taken off their reviews. We felt once we read them very apprehensive about going further with the purchase since some of the warning were saying that their vet bills came to more than the price to purchase the dog. They have misrepresented themselves and we weren’t at liberty to take the chance that we might be getting a puppy mill dog that needed medical care. That was why our 8 yr old Havanese died suddenly. The vet saw that an undisclosed heart murmur must have caused her early death. It was both devastating and and we are still mourning her passing every day. I never want to go thru that ordeal again. Beware of Pawrade and their unscrupulous business tactics. They get dogs from areas that are known puppy mills and once u pay them a hefty amount of money u can forget them backing the purchase!
This customer has provided a very one sided opinion with a large amount of hypothetical possibilities that never happened. First, our sales reps are never pushy or high pressure. They know that choosing to get a puppy that will be with you 10-20 years is a big decision. We also are sure that each customer is fully aware of our refund and cancellation policies. They may seem strict on the surface, and that is because a puppy is not an inanimate object you can place back on a shelf. The policies are presented to the customer during the checkout process before purchase where they are required to check boxes acknowledging they read and agree to the terms before being allowed to proceed. They are presented with the terms a a second time where they are required to initial the specific sections as well. The customer was well aware of the policies before they agreed to move forward. The customer than asked to cancel the sale as they had read a few poor reviews while ignoring the thousands of 5 star reviews. And keep in mind that those unhappy, justified or not, are far more likely to write a review than the happy ones. It was explained that cancelling the sale would result in us following the cancellation policy that they had agreed to. The customers credit card than reviewed all the details and found on our favor. We carefully vet all of our breeders to ensure they are fully licensed and inspected by the USDA with no violations, as well as any local regulating authority. Each pup receives a head to toe exam by a USDA licensed vet just before going home and we require the new puppy parent to take the pup to their own vet within 3 days to ensure there are no issues. We administrate our Health Guarantee with integrity and regularly cover the expenses for customers.
Absolutely the Best place/website to buy a puppy I love our puppy. Everything was so smooth. Service was great. Communication was great. I will buy another one soon. Thank you for everything.
Hey Inbal, thank you for the kind words and thank you for trusting Pawrade to help you find the perfect pup for you. Best wishes.
Charging $5,200 for a shih tzu that has no papers and not registered. How are people giving good reviews here? Have people lost their minds? There is no positive from a company charging these kinds of prices for a dog with no papers.
Hey Jerome, we are sorry to hear that the prices of pups is a bit distressing to you. We understand as prices have climbed on everything. But we price our pups on the lower end of national averages and regularly beat our competitors. We understand your frustration with prices of things, but is it really fair to come online and slam us for the very reasonable prices for the service we provide?
Hey Sandra, short and sweet. Thank you for choosing Pawrade!
