I called member support this evening and spoke to Jeremy who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had a lot of questions, some were senior related. He was very patient and was able to answer every single question without hesitation - he didn't have to put me on hold and lookup the information. I can't wait to sign up in the morning as a new Senior Black Card member!!!
I have been a BLACK CARD holder with Planet Fitness in Rockwall, TX since 11-25. I have had extremely POSITIVE interaction with ALL the STAFF until last night 8-1-26. I arrived to the gym around 6:10PM and did my usual short work out because of time limitations, I went to the desk, where Jordan wa to be on duty but he was no where to be found. I wanted to use my Black Card benefits and I literally waited for 45 minutes for a manager to admit me in to the facilities of the Black Club.I then began to ;search the gym every where including the men’s locker room, Office and Break room but there was NO PERSON employed with Planet Fitness to be found. I even had a contracted worker that was taking care of an issue in the men’s locker room . He waited for 15 minutes to get his workers order to be signed off on but he left and ask me to let the manager that he had finished the job and left. I waited. There until 7:30 to 8PM and decided that I needed to get home to my family. This is totally outside of the Team that I have grown and to love there at the Rockwall Planet Fitness.I have become friends with Cameron, RJ, Angelica and now a new staff member Sammy. Nolan is GREAT! My husband & I try to sign up for back to back classes with him. We also like the membership price, proximity, cleanliness, & friendliness of the staff.
Today at the gym they have dinners done right here give up free samples of food. What business are at mine comes to a gym trying to get people unhealthy food. I’ve been here for over an hour now and I don’t think one person took this ladies food yesterday, but anyway, Planet Fitness we don’t want people giving out food. This is a gym,not a fast food restaurant.
Planet fitness is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to get a great workout in a welcoming environment. The equipment is consistently clean, and suits all fitness levels. I like the friendly staff who always go out of their way to make you feel comfortable!
I have been a member of this Planet Fitness location for over a year, and this was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had. Yesterday, I trained wearing the exact same outfit and sandals. I completed my entire workout, and not a single employee said anything to me about violating any policy. Today, I came in wearing the exact same outfit. After I had already entered the gym, the General Manager, Johny, approached me and told me to come with him. He informed me that I could not work out wearing sandals because of their policy. I calmly explained that no one had ever informed me of this rule before, especially considering I had trained the day before in the same outfit without any issue. I simply asked if they could make an exception this one time since the rule had never been communicated to me. At that point, another employee claimed she had already warned me previously. That statement was completely false. She has never spoken to me about sandals or any dress code. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Johny immediately escalated it. Rather than allowing me to change my shoes, explaining the policy respectfully, or simply asking me to leave for the day, he told me they wanted to cancel my membership, gave me two minutes to leave the gym, and threatened to call the police if I didn’t. I was shocked by how aggressively this situation was handled. After being a loyal member for over a year, I expected respect and professionalism, not intimidation and false accusations. Policies should be enforced consistently. If sandals are not allowed, then that rule should be communicated clearly and applied equally to everyone—not ignored one day and turned into a threat of police involvement the next. This experience completely changed my opinion of this location. I hope Planet Fitness management reviews how members are treated, because no paying customer deserves to be treated this way.
Quakertown, PA location. I have been working out @ gyms for over half a century, best gym ever. Absolutely the cleanest gym we have ever worked out in. Staff cleans constantly. All brand new equipment, well maintained. Breakdowns are usually fixed within a day. GR8 mix of cardio & weight training equipment/areas. Then the #1 reason to join, price. My wife & I, $1200 a year @ the YMCA, $350 a year here with a black membership. & this is a better gym. Staff is GR8 also.
This is about the Dayton (Centerville) location: Thank you, thank you, thank you! The gym has been way too hot for several weeks, but today it was cool and wonderful! Much better for exercising!
I’ve been paying for a Black Card membership for 2 years at the 12235 east university drive location in prosper texas, yet the amenities I’m paying for are constantly broken or unavailable. The photos speak for themselves: multiple machines out of order, massage chairs down, massage guns unavailable, torn yoga mats, ripped medicine balls, filthy equipment, and flooding whenever it rains. This gym is falling apart. I’ve repeatedly contacted GM Joey about being overcharged and requested a refund for the months I’ve paid for amenities I couldn’t use. My calls have gone unanswered. He also promised new treadmills if I changed my previous corporate review—those treadmills never came. 2 days After I left an honest Google review, my best friend and I were confronted by management that left us feeling intimidated for exercising our right to provide customer feedback. At this point, I’m seeking legal advice regarding my membership and the services that were promised but not provided. Corporate needs to step in And investigate this location. I've been trying to get into a routine at Planet Fitness, but the equipment is often out of order, which is frustrating. The staff could be more attentive, and honestly, the place sometimes feels more chaotic than welcoming. I guess you get what you pay for.
Absolutely terrible experience. My 17-year-old daughter opened a membership at this gym as a minor, and from day one she has been charged twice every billing cycle. She went to the gym multiple times to report the problem and repeatedly asked to cancel her membership, but months went by with no resolution. The situation became so frustrating that I had to go to my bank to stop the charges and deal with the issue myself because the gym failed to take any action. It’s unacceptable to ignore a customer’s complaints while continuing to withdraw money from their account. Customer service has been completely unhelpful, and we are now forced to escalate this matter. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. Make sure you monitor your bank statements carefully if you decide to join.
Planet Fitness Carollwood Facility: For the 2nd time I went up to the desk December 31st, 2025 at Carollwood in Tampa, Florida, explaining I was leaving to go to a new doctor in Upstate New York. (DECEMBER 31ST 2025 WAS MY LAST VISIT. ABBEY CONFIRMED THIS.) I'd requested my Membership cancelled and wanted to make sure it was indeed cancelled. The gentleman opened the computer and entered my request. He looked me in the eye and said it was cancelled. I asked him if I could be assured everything was cancelled and whether I needed a print-out as proof. He said, "Yes, it's all taken care of. You have nothing to worry about and you don't need a print-out." I have called and called and called! Abbey, the manager, continues to bill me every month since January and has also charged me the yearly fee in February. She promised 2 or 3 times to cancel my membership, but she never did.😭 She said she could do nothing about the Charges😭. She continues to charge me monthly! There was the Yearly Fee in February and 7 months of illegitimate Charges from January through this month of July 2026. Are we in Communist Country? I'm devastated. It looks like they will charge me illegitimately the rest of my life!😭 She promised 2 or 3 times to cancel my membership, but she never did.😭 She said she could do nothing about the Charges😭. She continues to charge me! There is the Yearly Fee and 7 months of illegitimate Charges. Are we in Communist Country? I'm devastated. Billing has told me they will be glad to credit me and cancel my membership, but cannot do it without Abbey's Authorization. I have called so many times! Abbey is definitely not a customer advocate. I am in shock that nothing is done about this and there is no other number to call! I'm devastated.😭
I don’t have to much complaints about the gym the only complaint is about students summer, I think for students supposed be different hours because I paying black card and some students use the gym for free and we can’t use the machines because the students are in the machines talking and not using the machines
Signing up minors without parental approval is an absolutely horrible business model. Then they make these kids jump through hoops to cancel. How can you be in a contract if your not an adult? Shame on you. It's not the money it's the pricinciple of deceitful tactics to make money

Let's talk about employee loyalty and corporate blindness. A close friend just left her company after 14 years. She started at the front desk and earned her way to Regional Manager, then Senior Manager. She sold her home and relocated across the country to help a struggling, newly-acquired region. She was the go-to. The person VPs and the CEO called at the last minute for critical data before board meetings - and she always delivered because she knew the business better than anyone. When there were layoffs, their responsibilities landed on her. No title change. No extra compensation. She asked for a raise. Denied. She brought another offer to HR hoping for a counter. The response from a Sr. VP: "The company owes you nothing." 14 years of institutional knowledge, loyalty, and doing the job of 10 people walked out the door that day. We talk about how expensive it is to hire and train, how hard it is to find people who genuinely care since the pandemic. Then companies treat their best people like they are disposable. If you are in leadership - when was the last time you truly looked at who is holding your company together? And what are you doing to keep them?
Billing problem. Latia says I have to basically sit around for hours waiting for a manager to show up. Almost every Saturday I was going . I have had a membership since 2015. Will be switching. I go to several planets Some of staff even know me. First experience like this. It’s funny so 9am was at different planet total better experience. They said something about the billing but also know I am going to resolve it because I am in there consistently. Finally did talk to the manager named C at Willow Grove HORRIBLE. No assistance at all. Over staff is generally unwelcoming

DEAR PLANET FITNESS, Your Charlotte University location and all your Egg Harbor NJ Locations need desperate help and Regional Mgr Evaluation. CHARLOTTE UNIVERSITY Location; No Handsoap. No paper Towels, AND NO TOILET PAPER in a facility that provides multiple bathrooms AND requires you to wipe down equipment. BUT HERE IS THE WORSE PART; The Regional Mgrs asinine answer when asked "When are we going to get these supplies"? REGIONAL MGR ANSWER; When it gets here.....THAT IS A SIGN THAT THE REGIONAL MGR MUST BE EVALUATED. In a world now of "Super Germs", THESE ITEMS MUST NEVER RUN OUT. GO TO WALMART or SAMS CLUB and get these items to tie you over. NO EXCUSES! The Regional Mgr MUST BE EVALUATED! EGG HARBOR LOCATIONS: Poor equipment. Rubber grips missing. Handles & weight pins missing. Uninformed employees. Improper operation of hydro massages. STAND UP Redlight and tanning?? PEOPLE WANT TO RELAX DURING THESE!! and SHORT OPERATING HOURS!! NONE OF ANYTHING IN THIS REVIEW IS ACCEPTABLE. Get your act together Planet Fitness.
The Palmdale, California Planet Fitness staff is awesome. They are friendly and helpful. Specifically, Lixel, Caleb, James, and DaTrion are the nicest people ever. Now the negatives and reasons I quit (which had nothing to do with the staff): Homeless people, living in their cars, are living in the parking lot. Very sketchy…. The new equipment is too heavy with a higher starting weight, and feels very cumbersome…not ergonomic. Corporate gives high schoolers and their families free membership all summer long, making the gym incredibly crowded. High school seniors get in free, while seniors don’t even get a discount. One of the members accosted me in the parking lot saying I stole her parking space. The schedule on the app does not reflect the new trainers name or his schedule. I understand from other reviews Planet Fitness allows men in the women’s locker rooms. I have not personally experienced this, but I do not want this experience at a gym. The first time I was with Planet Fitness, they closed due to COVID. The second time I was with Planet Fitness, the manager in Lancaster refused to enforce the rules and told me to go ahead and quit….she didn’t care. I signed up because they are the cheapest option in the Antelope Valley, but like they say….you get what you pay for.
