Why Etsy when Printify does the printing?

As Printify is at the moment my actual printed materials source, via Etsy, I will be closing my Etsy shop(s) soon. Printify has adequately met my customer's expectations, and comments reflect that and that's appreciated.

find some products too pricy, making it a tuff sale for an Etsy seller. Would like to see more design and editing features. More supplier options with a wider range of prices to keep cost down when applicable. More choices for someone like an Etsy seller (we are)to allow "pricing" options to our buyers.

I paid a small fortune for trash

I paid a small fortune for a sample order that looks like complete trash. Prints were all off center and horrible quality. Customer service is no help at all. Shipping prices are outrageous! Their design studio software is not good at all, you make it look correct in the sample photos and then they print out wrong.

Printify I a really good POD system to use, but room for improvment

I think using printify is simple and straightforward, but always room for improvement. I would like the ability to edit the prompts in your AI Image you creation with in Printify(ex. Custom asked for a 64 mustang for a tshit design, but it didn't match the style of the other design that were already created, so no consistency). Still need to be a way to add multiple personalized products in one listing.

Beware Shopify Stores (and everyone)! They will delete your product inventory.

In the past, I would have given Printify 5 stars and have recommended them to numerous people, but unfortunately I will no longer be doing that. To my horror, I recently logged in to discover that they had deleted dozens and dozens of my product inventory. All of which, are connected to my Shopify store. This, with no written notice. Just their policy of deleting products that have been sitting for too long or haven't had any orders in an awhile. The only way to stay on top of this is to constantly log into your Printify account to make sure they are not deleting your products. None of my other POD providers would dream of just deleting products. As you may know, it takes a lot of time to design products, strategize and get them loaded up to Shopify and they have cost me hours and hours of work. I am a one person team and just because I am not a high seller doesn't mean my efforts are not worthy. I do not know if I have it in me to redo work that has already been done. I am currently waiting to see if they can reinstate my products, but am in limbo as their tech team "figures it out". Dealing with customer service chat just trying to get answers has been frustrating as well. I have to check-in to see if there is progress instead of them just reaching out to give me updates --which means talking to a different person every time who doesn't know what is happening. I'm given the standard "Check back in 2-3 days." This situation has cost me dearly. Be warned. I hope they figure out better policies moving forward. Update: They were not able to reinstate my products which has cost me countless hours of work. Absolutely unacceptable. If a product is published to a store, they should not even consider deleting it, period.

I love this company

I love this company. Their support is available 24/7 and is much better than other companies offering similar services. Their quality and support are great. My only concern is how they handle out-of-stock products. If an item goes out of stock, they often have no idea when it will be restocked, and there doesn't seem to be much accountability for the print providers. This can be really damaging for small businesses. I was stuck waiting over two months for a product to come back in stock. In the end, I had to delete all the listings that included it, even though I had spent a lot of time creating custom mockups and investing in those products. It was frustrating, and my customers were disappointed too. I just wish the company had a stronger policy to hold print providers accountable for long-term out-of-stock items or at least provide accurate restock timelines. For example, these out-of-stock products have really damaged my shop: Bella+Canvas 3483 Tank Top: Out of stock for 73 days. Now almost half of variants are unavailable, and I had to delete all my listings. Comfort Colors® 9360 Tank Top: XS White has also been out of stock for a long time.

I dont like that I have to recreate items that have been removed due to time. I have many customers that purchase an old shirt and I have to make it again.

Shame on you Printify - you need to do better!!

Beware!!! Printify is easy to use until something goes wrong, then the customer service is woeful. This has happened time and time again with them. Email after email of copy and paste ‘wait longer’ ’we know it’s frustrating’ Weeks of frustrating communication and the latest - an order which was sent to production on 5th July STILL sat ‘in production’ on now 24th July???? I asked them ‘can you just CALL the print provider?’ and they say they can only correspond with them through email? What company in this day and age only communicates through email? It’s absurd. I asked 6 times for it to be escalated to a manager, and was told anything from ‘our department can handle it’ to ‘they will contact you within 2 business days’ A team leader did eventually reach out and say they would EMAIL the print provider again - guess what? No response, no movement on production. Meanwhile my customers are complaining and my business is suffering and I’m handing out refunds. I’ve explained this to Printify but they just don’t care. I think the 5 star reviews on here are false and they bombard Trustpilot with 5 star reviews to skew. Read the real 1 star reviews to get a true picture of how this company operates!! Shame on you Printify, you need to do better!
