★☆☆☆☆ Misleading claims about Polish-language support – refund refused I purchased QuillBot because it was advertised as supporting the Polish language. Unfortunately, after paying for the subscription and installing the available extensions, I discovered that the Polish-language functionality I expected was not actually provided. I wanted to use QuillBot in the same way as Grammarly—to correct Polish grammar, spelling and writing while composing emails and working in Microsoft Word. Despite the claims about multilingual or Polish-language support, these features do not work for Polish as advertised or are simply unavailable in the applications where I needed them. I feel that I was seriously misled into purchasing this subscription. Had the limitations concerning Polish been clearly explained before payment, I would never have subscribed. What makes the situation even worse is that my request for a refund was refused, even though the service did not provide the functionality for which I purchased it. In my experience, the advertising was misleading, the Polish-language support was not genuinely provided as expected, and the customer service response was extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend QuillBot to Polish-speaking customers. If you are considering purchasing it specifically for correcting Polish emails or Polish documents in Microsoft Word, check the actual functionality very carefully before paying. Do not rely solely on the general claims about multilingual or Polish-language support.

The free version is useless as key features are locked behind such restrictive word limits that you are not able to adequately test the service's effectiveness. So you'll have to upgrade to see whether the service is worth paying for. Let me save you the hassle and tell you that the premium version is a waste of money. Neither the AI detector nor the humanizer will meaningfully work to the extent that you desire. In my experience, the detector will often fail to detect AI or will flag originally written content. During my use, the humanizer would just swap key words of my sentence to random synonyms, unintentionally making the writing sound more AI and genuinely unintelligible. You'll quickly abandon this service for a better free alternative and move on. Months later, you'll discover you're still being charged because you forgot to cancel the subscription. When you contact customer support for a refund, they will bluntly respond with: "Refunds are issued only if required by law." Lovely. Thank you Mary, very helpful. I don't see how a pro-rata deduction is out of the question, but hey, I guess that's not how this multimillion dollar company deals with its customers. Save yourself the hassle. There are free alternatives that seem to work much better. Avoid this service unless you enjoy paying for something you'll never use.
