I purchased a reborn doll for my daughter less than 2 months ago. $260.00 My daughter is physically handicapped so she cannot play with it or handle it in any way. It is only handled when it is laid next to her. After several weeks I noticed that the paint was already wearing off. it is quite evident and located in many different locations. I reached out to the seller with photos and was immediately met with resistance. She suggested that I abused the doll in some way, or that I used some harsh chemicals to clean it. I responded back to inform her that the doll never got dirty because it was not played with. The clothing had never been changed. We hadn't had it long enough. The doll was originally listed as an "oops" baby because the seller was not happy with the way the paint turned out. I didn't mind that she was blotchy. It just seemed to me more like actual skin color. I asked about the quality of the paint job because I have purchased cheap versions of "reborn" dolls from Amazon and after a year or so the paint would wear off. So, if I were going to spend this amount of money on a doll, I would like it to last at least that long! We exchanged several emails in which she told me that she has worked with customers before that had issues, some being their own faults and she did her best to work something out. But, she offered me nothing but passive aggressive language. It became very clear that she was not going to offer any remedy for the situation. She was accusatory, condescending, basically called me a liar and shut down communication. I had originally left her a 5 star review and unfortunately, there is no way to edit the original review. The website does not have contact information for a 3rd party to contact. Buyer beware! Owner has suggested that he does his best to assist with situations like this, but his solution was to offer me a way to edit my initial review. When I told him I was done with the situation and that wasn't enough, I was reprimanded and banned from the website. It is a moot point, as I would not do business with another "artist" again.

Our experience with Marjorie Burba was excellent. We bought the reborn baby girl Jasmine on a Saturday, Marjorie shipped her the following day, Sunday. We received her on Wednesday. The reborn baby girl was perfect when we got her. She looked just like the picture we saw on Reborns.com. We are very happy with Marjorie Burba and would purchase another reborn baby from her in the future.

I ordered the luka doll and it is an awful looking baby, the legs are yellow and not as beautifully painted as the photos, i have ordered from here before so i thought it would be good to order from here again but i was extremely dissapointed. The seller was extremely nice and open though, i really love the babies selling on her website maybe i didnt read the description right. But i would recommend ordering from here its just not for me

Unfortunately, first I ordered from a fake website (Reborn Baby Deutschland - fake fake fake!!!!) before I discovered reborns.com I am so happy now as I ordered a really beautiful doll. And received her exactly looking like the photo posted on the website. Thanks to the artist, really great work!!! I love her!

My "baby" arrived beautifully packaged, and is exactly as pictured and described on the Reborns site. The only thing I would change is I wish her hair was a little protected during shipping. It appears that because of some shifting in the box during shipping, her hair must have been rubbing against the blanket, so the hair on the back of her head is really tousseled, almost tangled. Otherwise, she is PERFECT!! USPS was late 4 days delivering her, but that is not anyone's "fault". Thank you. Alison M.
