It was a shame not to be able to do a one-off recovery on the trial version as the cost is pretty steep - would be happy to pay that amount if I got to keep the program but seems a lot for the short time period. Pleasantly pleased. I had my doubts but was impressed with the recovery process and time. I recovered over 4000 files within 15 min approx. give or take. I'm glad I got the year license - well worth it. Gives me piece of mind if ever this should happen again....NO PANIC Wondershare Recoverit to the rescue it will be!
I lost files from an SD card. I was able to recover the majority of the lost files, but would like to have recovered all of them as these are important for work related issues.
Wondershare Recoverit is advertised as free for recovery, however most people would agree that a crucial part of recovery, after just finding the files, would be to be able to retrieve/export the files. It is free to find files, HOWEVER YOU CANNOT RETRIEVE THEM. After attempting to export, you will be greeted with a page to first pay for a $50 license to be able to get your data back. In other words, Wondershare are profiting off of people's misfortunes rather than actually helping people.

I was able to recover all of my files, I think, from my crashed 2008 Toshiba laptop. It duplicated my photos though; don't know how or why. Now I'll need to find a software to get rid of duplicates.

Worked as advertised, easy to use, decently fast when recovering data from accidentally formatted thumb drive, but did not discover until it was done that I could only recover 100 MB of files without paying for the "pro" version. I managed to save what I needed, but would have appreciated a warning, hence the 1 star deduction.
