Forget TeamViewer and AnyDesk.

Forget TeamViewer and AnyDesk. At a time when almost every software company is replacing perpetual licenses with endless subscriptions, or offering “free” versions filled with pop-ups, restrictions, and frustrating wait times, Remote Utilities is a rare exception! The name may not sound particularly exciting (perhaps something to improve), but the product itself is really outstanding. I rarely write reviews, but when a product is this good, more people deserve to know about it. Remote Utilities is genuinely one of those rare hidden gems.

I'm delighted with the application…

I'm delighted with the application because the LAN connectivity is fantastic. You don't need an internet connection, and it allows you to work on a second CPU as if it were a direct connection. The quality and fluidity are almost as if the monitor were connected to the CPU. I haven't explored all the options yet, but I can see it has many features. I highly recommend it and give it 5 stars.

I have been using RU since my son was a kid

I have been using Remote Utilities for as long as I can remember. I installed it to monitor my teenage children's internet usage through our home network. It helped me to see the type of programs they accessed and the time they spent on the pc. My oldest son is now 26yrs. He let home to start a family. I will miss the network games we had together. I am glad to have discovered Remote Utilities.

Remote Utilities Review

Remote Utilities Review Remote Utilities is a powerful and cost-effective remote desktop software solution designed for IT professionals, managed service providers (MSPs), and businesses that need secure remote access to computers and servers. Unlike many competitors that rely on recurring subscription fees, Remote Utilities offers a one-time licensing model, making it an attractive option for organizations looking to reduce long-term costs. One of the software's strongest advantages is its extensive feature set. It supports unattended remote access, file transfer, remote task management, chat, screen recording, inventory reporting, and multiple connection modes. The platform also provides secure connections through encryption and supports both direct and cloud-based connectivity, giving administrators flexibility in different network environments. Another notable benefit is its pricing structure. Remote Utilities offers a free version for up to 10 remote computers and affordable perpetual licenses for larger deployments. This pricing model can be significantly more economical than subscription-based alternatives such as TeamViewer or LogMeIn, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. In terms of usability, the software delivers a straightforward and functional interface. While the design may not feel as modern or polished as some competitors, many users appreciate its simplicity and ease of navigation. The software focuses on reliability and functionality rather than visual aesthetics. However, Remote Utilities is not without drawbacks. Some users have reported occasional connectivity issues and feel that the user experience could be improved. Additionally, although the platform supports cross-platform access, its strongest capabilities remain centered around Windows environments. Overall, Remote Utilities is an excellent remote desktop solution for organizations seeking a feature-rich, secure, and affordable platform. Its perpetual licensing model, robust remote management tools, and flexible deployment options make it a compelling alternative to more expensive remote access software. While the interface may appear somewhat dated and some users may experience connectivity limitations, the overall value proposition is difficult to ignore.
