I installed the service on a month old Ryzen 9, RTX5090, 96GB, 4 tb SSD PC. It prompted me to reboot and immediately sent me into an infinite Automatic Repair loop on Windows 11 Pro. I am doing a system restore and hoping this malware is eliminated. Do not use!
This is pretty much a total scam, I use more electricity than I get paid plus putting wear and tear on an $8000 plus dollar set up. They prioritize your machine when you first login & set up. Which makes things look good, and then after about a week they drop the job prices down to under $0.20 per hour while you're using 30 cents per hour to run the equipment. And yes I do know the exact numbers because I have an energy monitor hooked up to my computer I can see the difference for when salad was running versus when it wasn't and they like to show you how much they project you're going to make in the next hour. So yeah! my recommendation to anybody that ever looks at using their computer system to run salad, do not do it!
Sometimes it takes a little more as expected to get running a job. The payments are little low, but in general is good
The company, Salad, continues to provide paying customer for our machine rentals. Other company's renters complain about your internet speed, the amount of memory you have, and the processing power. I try hard to provide top quality rentals and Salad doesn't complain, I keep getting renters and that's what counts. Thank You, Salad!
Easy to use, Great way to make a few extra $
Genuinely makes it worth it to keep my pc running
payment is quick, you earn money using it quick, however some issues but easily fixable. 0.60 in one night sounds like a dream.
I joined Salad expecting a fair exchange of computing power for reasonable rewards, but the reality is deeply disappointing. If you have high-end hardware, be warned: Salad will exploit your equipment's processing power for pennies. The best way to describe the current state of this platform is that it feels exactly like using a Ferrari to drive for Uber. They take your premium, expensive components and route them to run low-tier, low-paying tasks, all while taking a massive cut as the middleman. The abysmal earnings do not even come close to justifying the depreciation, wear, and tear on a high-performance machine. To make matters worse, their "Star Chef" (VIP) reward system is incredibly misleading. I left my machine running flawlessly for over 122 hours—well beyond their stated requirements—yet the promised VIP status never materialized. You are left burning your hardware for a mirage. If you value your PC and your investment, stay away. There are much better, more transparent alternatives in the market that actually respect the hardware you bring to the table and pay you fairly. Salad, in its current state, is simply not worth the damage to your equipment.
I made the first 11.00. it did not take long. checkout for the amazon card was instant!
Salad pays off. What's not to like?
So far i've made 22 not using my pc when i'm away.
It may take a minute to mine some moneys, but, its been doing alright, like the passive income, is it paying for the electricity used with a 3090 card, maybe
i've been using this app to mine and earn something for many years and i've never gotten any problem with it. With this, you can also use the credit you earn from mining and acquire a physical item.
fully legit im always skeptical with these typa free money over time stuff but if you got a decent pc you can legit just run this for 10 days and get free discord nitro which is wild.
