Scammer spent my money on Shadowpay (Problem Solved)
I was scammed, and the scammer used my money on Shadowpay. I immediately called the bank, and afterward, I contacted the agent from Shadowpay because the Shadowpay name appeared in my bank transaction with a reference code. Few days later, I received a 'pre-authorized refund,' but it was subsequently withdrawn. When I reached out to various agents for assistance again, they not only failed to read the attachments I provided but also provided irrelevant responses and made excuses, such as claiming that the money was immediately spent by the scammer. When I inquired about the withdrawn pre-authorized refund, they continued to evade the issue. One of the agents even made the erroneous assumption that I transferred the money to myself. LMAO they didn't even bother to read the provided information. Shadowpay cannot access the scammer's Steam account, and Steam cannot interfere with Shadowpay's exclusive management of it. Wow I am done, I give up. Update on 04/11/2023 As you can see from the response below, they consistently avoid addressing the initial 'pre-authorized refund' question and divert the conversation to other topics. When the pre-authorized refund was withdrawn, they didn't take all; a balance was left in my bank account, which clearly indicates their intent to refund me the actual money. I've repeatedly informed them with substantial evidence that I've fallen victim to a scam, yet they continue to insist on discussing 3D Secure (3DS), Sigh. Be cautious, everyone. Stay away from this dishonest website as it favors scammers. it's no wonder that many people have encountered issues with withdrawing their money. Update on 08/03/2024 I received the money back yesterday. It's listed as a refund sales dated 22/01/2024 in my bank app transaction list. I don't understand why it's listed as 22/01/2024, but anyways, as long as I got my money back, that's all that matters. So I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. The transaction was completed in compliance with 3DS technology - which means that the transaction was confirmed by the owner of the card data. The funds were withdrawn from the platform even before your request, we are very sorry and we recommend that you treat the data of your accounts/bank accounts, etc. with care and never transfer it to third parties or dubious sources
