What people say
Listen, Sherpa Prep is an absolute must.
Listen, in our first class, although we didn't cover subject matter content immediately, I knew then that this class would wake me up and shake up my knowledge of what I thought the GMAT was. Nafeez is super methodical in his approach, and no word or second is wasted in uselessness. Our first class covered the GMAT, accountability, Sherpa, etc.; simply call it onboarding. But it was the authenticity of Nafeez and him explaining to us the empiricism behind it all. By the end of our 12 classes together, I knew more than I did in my year and a half of self-study. From quick chats to office hours, Sherpa Prep is everything you need and more to approach the GMAT. Call me crazy, but I genuinely looked forward to each class, missed one once, and I felt like my entire being was out of sync because the engagement piece was key and truly knowing that you could be open and ask any question made the class an enjoyable experience. Although I'm not GMAT final yet, I know once I finish the processes set by Sherpa, I'll be where I want to be with my scores, and I know you can too if you use Sherpa and trust the process. Thank you, Nafeez, Erin, Andrea, Liz, and the entire Sherpa Prep team!
GMAT Architect
One could believe that Nafeez designed the GMAT by himself. The way he disassembles problems and develops approaches to solving them is nothing short of incredible. He is a very flexible and patient instructor who is truly passionate about enabling people to beat the GMAT and pursue higher education.
Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I cannot say enough good things about the Sherpa GMAT course! The strategies and teaching methods are extremely valuable compared to anything you can find that is almost twice as expensive. On top of all of the helpful instruction to destroy the GMAT, Nafeez provides a lot of great insight into the MBA process and also life in general. One of my favorite parts about Sherpa and how much Nafeez and co really care about students and truly live out the "Smart with Heart" mission
Nafeez is the greatest teacher I have…
Nafeez is the greatest teacher I have ever had! He inspires his students and helps us overcome our fears in test prep. You can tell he genuinely cares and wants you to succeed. Sherpaprep is the best prep course anyone could take to help transition into graduate school.
Hands down the best company
Hands down the best company If you're looking for a GRE prep class/admissions coach, look no further! Sherpa Prep is hands down the best company out there. I was definitely apprehensive about an online GRE course...especially one that was several hours long once a week. I was amazed by how well structured the course was and how interactive my instructor, Jay, made the course. He doesn't make you feel bad for not remembering basic concepts from middle school. On the contrary, Sherpa Prep understands that most students are not going to remember math concepts from 15-20 years ago. In addition to teaching you the concepts, they teach you test taking strategies that are the difference between finishing a section and not finishing. I went up almost 20 points on the math section thanks to Sherpa Prep. As for admissions counseling, Nafeez is incredible to work with. I love writing, but I was anxious and had writer's block. Nafeez helped me structure the writing process and break it down into manageable chunks. He also helped do a final walkthrough of my application. Having an extra set of eyes - the best out there - is invaluable before you hit click. With the help and support of Jay and Nafeez, I was admitted to my program despite being a non-traditional student. If you are considering working with Sherpa Prep, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Jay and Nafeez!
Sherpa Prep Review
I come from a background and position where I know a minimal amount of information about the MBA process and value. With limited personal connections to this pursuit and conflicting data from all job boards, Sherpa Prep was a God send. If you want GMAT prep that is both realistic and insightful, come here. Nafeez and co will put you on the right path. Nafeez truly cares about the performance and headspace of his students and is very generous with his time. I highly recommend Sherpa Prep.
The guide you need for the Journey
The guide you need for the Journey I signed up for Sherpa Prep with zero knowledge of the GMAT or MBA process and I can't imagine having gone anywhere else. Aside from the thorough course itself Sherpa Prep is a community you join where, through free office hours, and quick chats you can get personalized study advice and direction. And as several people have mentioned its all at a price lower than several competitors. They do this because they want Business School to be accessible to ALL people. They are also highly responsive and amenable to any life circumstances that may arise. During my test prep I had to pause for several months due to a life event and Nafeez helped me get back on the horse and hit a great score. The guides for each topic and the study methods they encourage helped me get back on track. If you're looking for a sign this is it: GO ENROLL NOW!
Sherpa prep is nothing short of…
Sherpa prep is nothing short of amazing. They give every student their undivided attention and actually care about you reaching your goal score. I think the most important thing is that no 1 person learns the same and that is what separates them from the other gmat programs is that they have a plan that is successful for each person if you are willing to put in the work.
Worth It
Sherpa Prep provides online and in-person test prep options that meet the needs of professionals looking to study for the GMAT and GRE. Their staff was very responsive and they built in flexibility to the course and study schedule. Their personal approach to each student is noticed and fosters an inclusive learning environment regardless of your experience or skill level coming into the course. 100% would recommend.
There isn't a better test prep service out there
There isn't a better test prep service out there. Sherpa Prep has been instrumental in my GMAT prep, and they offer way more than other conventional test prep services. Highly highly recommend.
Would HIGHLY recommend Sherpa Prep
Would HIGHLY recommend Sherpa Prep! I was just accepted into Wharton and Booth and could not have done this without Sherpa Prep. Everyone there is incredible, especially Nafeez (my instructor). Beyond helping me strategically approach the exam by explaining concepts in unique and memorable ways, he was invaluable in helping me mentally prepare for the exam. Nafeez was a key partner during my MBA application journey and one of Sherpa's key differentiators is you can schedule free "quick chats" with your instructor throughout the process, which I immensely appreciated.
10/10 Recommend
I cannot recommend Sherpa Prep enough. Before working with Nafeez, I attended another “leading” GMAT provider class. After taking the class, I was ready to give up on the GMAT - my test scores were not improving and I was left clueless on next steps. Nafeez and his team helped give me the guidance I needed and my improvement was astronomical. If you’re considering taking the GMAT ENROLL IN SHERPA PREP, you certainly will not be disappointed.
Life Changing Company!
Sherpa Prep is an actual life changing company. The amount of care, effort, and dedication that the entire team displays is unmatched by any other prep course I’ve attended or that my friends have attended. It is clear that they are not a profit-motivated company: they are results motivated. They are committed to the student-teacher educational relationship and value personal interactions as much as they value test scores.
Highly Recommend
Best value amongst sea of tutoring services for understanding the GMAT and laying groundwork for beating the test. The Sherpa team has invested lots of time to develop guides which, might seem basic, but cover a lot of ground in serving as refreshers on GMAT topics. Nafeez is also quite generous with his time and very patient in answering questions with regard to admissions and GMAT. Highly recommend taking the first series of classes, even if only exploring an MBA. With access to in-house materials and digital class recordings, value provided far exceeds the cost.
Sherpa Prep is a game changer for GRE…
Sherpa Prep is a game changer for GRE preparation! I tried a ton of tutors and Kaplan and Manhattan prep, and I couldn't get my practice test scores up. When I finally found Sherpa, everything seemed to click. The books are very easy to understand, breaking each concept down to the basics, so you understand how to build up to the harder questions. The class moves at a great pace and teaches you helpful tricks on how to approach the test itself, beyond simply understanding the math behind the test. Finally, as a company, Sherpa is very hands on and invested in you as a person. You are not just a customer! Jay is by far the best out there!!!! He understands everything about the test, and knows how to guide you through each step, breaking down the way you think to catch where you go wrong. He is smart and doesn't want you to give up until you reach your goals. Furthermore, when Jay was too busy, Erin, my teacher for the class, was happy to jump in and help. I am now happily on my way to a top MHA/MBA program. I only wish I had found them sooner!
A Transitioning JMO Must Enroll
I was recommended to Sherpa Prep by a close friend who is a year ahead of me in the "transitioning junior military officer process." My friend and I were not the most elite academically in college, however when he informed me how his GMAT score had improved following the completion of Sherpa prep, I was immediately sold. The best part about this course is the convenience and loose structure that literally points you to success. There is a clear formula that you are advised to follow; the classes aid in clearing up more difficult topics. Nafeez was my instructor for 12 weeks, and I cannot speak highly enough in regard to his teaching style and methodology to keep students engaged, even at 930pm on a Thursday evening. Without this course, I literally would not know where to begin with prep for the GMAT, nor would I have the confidence that I have the ability to destroy the test like I do today.

Sherpa Prep is most likely the best…
Sherpa Prep is most likely the best GMAT prep course available today. I did the online class and people from countries all over the world signed up to take this course. I can see why, Nafeez is a professional in the utmost sense of the word when it comes to knowledge of and teaching the GMAT. He is one of, if not the worlds foremost expert on the GMAT, he knows the exam in and out and will teach you the same. 10/10 recommend.
Sherpa is Wonderful
I used Sherpa's in person course and found it to be tremendously helpful. Nafeez truly cares about his students and is excellent at breaking down complex topics and explaining them. Top quality education with an individualized touch. Highly recommended!
