I started my GMAT journey back in 2020, and since then have dabbled with three other GMAT courses/prep (Veritas, 2xManhattan, and TTP). I've poured tons of cash into these other prep courses and have not experienced the amount of care and support that Nafeez and the folks at Sherpa Prep bring to their students. Nafeez is genuinely vested in the success of his students and will go out of his way (within reason) to ensure that his student's needs are met. Hands down the best GMAT prep course out there right now!
You are in amazing hands if you choose Sherpa Prep!
You are in amazing hands if you choose Sherpa Prep for your GMAT or GRE needs (I say both because I accidently joined a GRE class too and it was also amazing). They've had my back through every step of my journey. Nafeez has been excellent as a GMAT instructor and he's really taken the pressure off of studying for the test. I highly recommend.
P.S. Extra friendly to Veterans!
I cannot speak highly enough of Sherpa Prep.
I went into my GRE prep course hardly remembering anything from high school math and managed to relearn it all in the course of eight weeks. In the process, I increased my quant score by approximately thirty points. I can attribute my success to Sherpa's well-developed curriculum and superb instructors, who have been so generous with their time throughout my test prep process. I can't thank them enough for their help and words of encouragement throughout the test prep process.
Really helped me with my pacing, score and confidence
Sherpa Prep is a highly effective learning course where the entire work team is focused on improving weak points and polishing work methodology. They are not joking when they say that their mission is centered around increasing access for everyone, as a foreign student I was insecure about taking this exam, but I totally changed my mind set from the moment I start taking classes at Sherpa. The student portal is very helpeful and easy to understand, I am practicing the exam as per the study plan that we built during the course, what resulted, as a big improvement in my studies outside of the class room as well. I am increasing my score considerably!!! Nafeez helped me to pursue a more structured and consistent preparation for GMAT and admissions subjects, I have not enough words to thank him! I totally recommend it.
Sherpa Prep got me my dream GMAT score (above the median and average for every single top 5 MBA program)
After getting burned by Manhattan Prep tutoring which was also extremely overpriced, I gave Sherpa a try, signing up for a 2 month group class series. Sherpa’s method is tried, true, and no nonsense; it taught me the right tricks, time management skills, and how to pick questions to skip on exam day- all crucial skills for scoring 700+
What makes Nafeez and his team different from other test prep teams is that they truly care about every single Sherpa Prep student- once a Sherpa student, always a Sherpa student! No other prep course instructor will check in with you even after the course has ended and provide free weekly office hours; Sherpa instructors go above and beyond to ensure every student reaches their target score.
Best investment I made in my GMAT journey- give them a try!
9 years ago I was a busy college student with a full-time job and no idea where to begin. I studied by myself and did *okay* on the GMAT. I got into grad school but barely. I wish I had known about Sherpa Prep back then. Now I'm going for my PhD, I've been out of school for 6 years, working full-time, and needed a boost of confidence as well as something to help me increase my score to be even more competitive in the world of academia. Nafeez is a refreshing take on the exam. Not at all what I expected but I cannot get enough. You will love going to class just to hear interesting facts that Nafeez tells us. I'm 200% sure that my scores will translate thanks to all the wisdom I've received during this course. I love that it doesn't end there either. Even after the course is over, they want to continue to help you succeed. Thanks Sherpa Prep/Nafeez!
Sherpa Prep is amazing! Everyone I had had to pleasure to interact with on the team was super gracious and very, very patient and helpful. A special shoutout to my tutor Nafeez, you are wonderful! Thank you for your kindness, dedication and honesty. You really know your stuff and I am forever grateful.
Sherpa Prep is absolutely worth it everyone!!!
Sherpa Prep is the ultimate graduate school admissions platform. Nafeez and his team genuinely care about their students and hold the student / teacher relationship in the highest regard. If you seek holistic admissions counseling (which you should), look no further. Each student is treated individually, and the Sherpa team genuinely cares about your success as an applicant. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have attended their course. Nafeez is the best kept admissions secret - good luck with the application process!
I just finished my first GMAT course with Nafeez and he was fantastic. Sherpa Prep truly goes above and beyond to ensure their students are successful. The fact that you can take the course twice is truly unheard of -- I could not be happier with my decision to go with Sherpa Prep!
I started my GMAT journey with a self-paced online course, made progress but struggled with the lack of structure after 4 months. My favorite things about Sherpa are 1) the structure and accountability, 2) the way Nafeez deconstructed math & verbal questions, and 3) the small tricks and shortcuts I didn't get from the online course. I highly recommend Sherpa Prep to anyone taking the GMAT.
Sherpa Prep provides much needed structure to the GMAT preparation process. Nafeez is engaging, thoughtful, and genuine in his approach. I would highly recommend Sherpa to anyone preparing for the GMAT.
It's in their name, Sherpa, they're willing to go above and beyond to help you reach your goal. You can read all the other reviews here, but the point is there is no better investment for your personal education goals.
Sherpa Prep is a fantastic organization. Their instructors go out of their way to ensure their student's success. The staff at Sherpa works tirelessly to help coordinate your classes, tutoring sessions, office hours, etc.
The instructors at SHERPA increased my GMAT score 220 points I cannot thank Nafeez and Jay enough for their tireless effort and willingness to go above and beyond. I was very skeptical initially taking a course like this because i thought it would be a money grab. However, I was very wrong they will do anything for their students.
Unique insight that you would not otherwise receive if you were to study on your own. Great combination of test-taking psychology, question strategy and fundamental math and verbal skill building.
I am confident there is no other test prep company that will give you the confidence and preparation necessary for you to get the score you are looking for on the GMAT. Nafeez and team not only give you great strategies to approach the test, but also help you look at test taking in a differently. I am very glad I chose Sherpa Prep and will be forever thankful for their commitment to the well-being and success of their students.
Sherpa instructors go to the next level to ensure that their students are able to succeed on their MBA journey. If you are a prospective MBA candidate, you need Sherpa.
Nafeez and his team go far out of their way to help you in any way they can. I was very pleasantly surprised at how personable the team was. Their guidance does not end at the conclusion of your last class. They extend help for as long as you wish to stay in touch which I thought was awesome! I highly recommend this program to anyone!
