Was very unhappy with the customer service trying to get an answer for 2 days, was then speaking to a guy (didnt get his name) in the birmingham branch and he was so helpful.

Constantly delayed delivery, lack of communication
- No e-mail saying delivery is on the way; - Not home when they came, no note in my mailbox; - Did get a e-mail to reschedule delivery. E-mail looked very unprofessional, so at first I mistook it for a phishing mail. - Found out during rescheduling my home address was incomplete in their system, but couldn't change it; - Only place to pick up package is in Amsterdam, no other places offered; - No confirmation of my rescheduled delivery date and time; - Rescheduled to a date and time I knew I would be home, they never came; - Tracking info showed me a total of six days where my package was 'on the way' but then rescheduled to next working day due to 'unforeseen circumstances' with no other explanation whatsoever. - Apart from the 'not home, please reschule' e-mail, I never received any form of communication saying my package was on the way or delayed and rescheduled to the next working day. + Delivery guy was so nice to call me on my phone when he couldn't find my home due to my address being incomplete in their system. So big plus for the delivery guy. + Webshop provided me with a tracking number, so I was able to see where my package was. I'm not sure if I'll order from a webshop again that uses Skynet as a delivery service. Biggest problems for me were that they didn't show up on the chosen rescheduled delivery date and time, and the constant delay due to unforeseen circumstances which made delivery take a week longer.
horrible experience with skynet!
Bad experience!! The item which was to be delivered in 5 days, took more than 15 days. I don't recommend it for students who want to send their documents. Most often the huge delay in delivery will cause them to miss the due dates.

Surcharging for baseline service
I'm amending this as if you don't do the online mandatory 6 quid charge for any change or redelivery they call and arrange a redelivery date at no cost. This isn't available or even apparent on their website. There's a real issue with what their site seems to suggest but their service is actually better than that. So, have another, not so harsh, start Skynet. Please sort out what your site seems to suggest though. Terrible set up where, as recover, to change delivery date they charge you, to leave with neighbours they charge you, to leave in safe place, guess what, they charge you. Had they allowed free date changes they'd have saved money. A customer facing company that belongs in the last decade or century depending how harsh you're feeling. Really best avoided. Collection available - in... Hounslow. Really?
Don't believe everything you read here....
After ordering a delivery from a little known Eastern European company and seeing they use skynet I googled them as a courier and immediately panicked because the reviews were shocking, I was expecting to not get the package at all if I'm honest.....it turned up a day early so don't believe everything you read on here most people only write reviews when they are angry so it doesn't truly reflect the company. I'd recommend them highly
Fantasic company
We have just started using them to handle our deliveries and they're superb. Service is best we've ever had, delivery is fast, communication great. Couldn't ask for more
