WORST customer service EVER
Purchased a bike that has 2 year manufacturer warranty. no one replies to emails, phone number is disconnected and website has apparently been taken down because none of the links work.

This company practices 'Planned Obsolescence" with it's bikes
This company practices 'planned obsolescence', I believe. They wire their batteries in such a way that they never last long. Mine failed me on the other side of town in the dead of night, and that bike is a tank to ride w/no power. I got another battery from them. Same thing. Had to find someone to rewire the batteries. Everything fine, for a while. Now, both batteries don't work again, but it's either a problem with them, or my connector-plug in is fried. Don't know what to do now... Had to buy hydraulic brakes because the mechanical brakes that came with it will lose stopping power completely in a month, over and over. Also had a problem with the motor, right as the warranty was almost up. They tried to distract and put me off of getting them to send a new one (sent a wrong kind and stonewalled my e-mails) I think in an effort to get them past the warranty, but I and a family member, kept riding them about it, got it, barely in time. The seat that came with the bike, is cracked and wrinkled, terribly, but I've only had the bike almost 2 years and keep it indoors. Hand grips already worn away and replaced. This bike seems cheap at first, but it's an endless money-pit that takes a very little bit of time before it's falling apart. I think of mine as a 'bionic' bike, because like the man of the same name, in the old tv show, so many pieces have been replaced w/upgrades. By necessity. But like I said, I don't know what the problem is this time, and I can't get ahold of them, I think they just jumped ship! Bike stores in my town don't have a clue how to fix it if it's electrical problems, which of course, it always is. I'm trapped in a corner with this...
Both batteries broke
Both batteries broke. I called and no help. I had to resoder the connection and broke again.
These bikes are DANGEROUS.
These bikes are DANGEROUS. Breaks went out 2 months in. I’ve been reaching out to the company and Walmart for over 6 months with no response. Do not buy anything from these people. I was almost severely injured several times due to brake and tire malfunctions. Your warranty means nothing

Exceptional customer support! Sohamo responds quickly and goes above and beyond. They helped me with a cracked display and even guided me through a handlebar modification issue step-by-step. Highly recommend!
easy to use
I'm loving my new bike so far! It's super easy to handle and perfect for commuting. Plus, the price is great compared to other bikes I've looked at. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it took longer than expected for customer service to get back to me, and I had a few issues with some of the accessories not arrived on time. But other than that, I'm very happy with it!

Recently bought a spare battery for my S3, and Sohamo’s team was super quick to assist me. They explained the purchasing process and delivery time, making it really easy to get what I needed. I’m extremely satisfied with both of my Sohamo bikes and their excellent customer service!

My only complaint is the slow response time from customer service and the wait for accessories. The assembly instructions weren’t as clear as I’d hoped, which made the setup a bit tricky
The bike is great
The bike is great, but there were a few issues with the order. I had some confusion with the delivery time and had to follow up a couple of times for updates. The bike is solid and fun to ride, but the customer service process could definitely be faster
The parts were fine
The parts were fine, but I had some trouble with the installation. The revised instructions for the mirrors were helpful, but when I tried to remove a handlebar plug, it broke off inside the handlebar. Drilling it out wasn’t too difficult with the right tools, but it definitely made the process harder. A bit frustrating, but overall the bike seems good.
Ordered the H3 for Christmas
Ordered the H3 for Christmas, and everything’s been great so far! Just waiting for the weather to warm up so I can start riding. Looking forward to it!

Overall, the bike is solid and works well. However, I did face a small issue with missing parts, which delayed my setup. Customer service was quick to send replacements, but it was a bit frustrating to deal with. It’s a good product, just a few bumps along the way.

I bought the S3 and while I’m happy with the bike itself, the assembly was a bit challenging. Some parts didn’t fit as smoothly as expected, and I had to reach out to customer support. Overall, I’m happy with the S3 — it’s a great travel tool, especially for my age. The only issue is that the phone service is a bit hard to reach, and while emails get answered quickly, it’s faster to handle urgent matters over the phone. Still, great bike and solid customer service!

I’m really impressed with the bike
I’m really impressed with the bike. It folds up so easily and is perfect for storing in a small space. The operation is smooth, and I love how affordable it is for the quality. The only downside is that I had a bit of a delay in receiving some spare parts, and the instructions for assembly could have been clearer. Still, a solid purchase for the price.
