Consumer feedback consistently reflects the smooth overall technical performance, excellent market value, and genuinely helpful guidance provided by staff during the initial platform setup.
However, some reviewers were not happy with customer support, mentioning unhelpful responses, rigid service policies, and completely unresolved account issues. The AI Alf Website studio is subpar at best!
Not intuitive! Not easy to use! And the AI is the ONLY tool, you cannot manually add or create from scratch using layouts, placeholder blocks, or merge tools - OH, and there's currently no "Undo" option, you have to ask Alf and hope it doesn't undo more than you want, or heaven forbid you're haven't selected the correct element you are trying to remove or undo.
I spent an entire 7 hours yesterday and Alf "destroyed" one thing after another. Luckily I didn't publish anything, unfortunately I am unable to, that I am aware of, as I said not intuitive at all, to just load what was last published.
Horrible experience 😪
7/23/26 Update: And here is the useless follow-up email: Hello,
Thank you for your patience!
Unfortunately, we do not support undo/redo functionality yet. The first version of it will be implemented soon.
In this case, please correct your website via Alf prompts.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Great hosting platform compared to other hosting available; given the features and fair pricing, I'd recommend this for any start-ups and existing companies with stable, long term hosting and domain needs.

I highly recommend adding an option to…
I highly recommend adding an option to sort by price in ascending or descending order; I imagine others would find this useful too—I certainly do.

If you're hosting just a website this hosting provider is good, but if you're hosting website with a discord bot, no chance, the worst of the worst, you cannot connect your discord bot to the database since there is no "Remote MySQL" or "Remote Database Access" in CPanel, I do not recommend this hosting provider.
Reply from Spaceship.com2026-07-15
Hello Mazi,
Remote MySQL / Remote Database Access is disabled on our Web Hosting plans - this is intentional and done for security reasons, since shared hosting environments host multiple accounts on the same server, so open remote database access is restricted to protect all users.
That said, it is possible to connect to the MySQL database remotely on Web Hosting using an SSH tunnel, set up with SSH keys, so there is a workaround for advanced use cases
For a use case like yours, involving a Discord bot or any application that needs more flexible, direct remote database access, we'd recommend considering a VPS plan instead. VPS gives you full control over your environment, without the restrictions in place on Shared Hosting, so you'd have full access to configure Remote Database Access and anything else your application needs.

For now I am fine with the service you are offering to me. I am using only the domain, maybe in the future to offer something like an emergent, full, no-coding webpage AI generator.

Promo scam. You cant use promo code without really reason
I don't recommend using this service, as, judging by my experience, you can run into serious problems without breaking any rules, and they won't help you. I registered on this site for the first time because I saw a domain I was interested in at a low price on TLD with a special promo code. Ultimately, I couldn't activate their promo code; the system kept telling me I was using a VPN or proxy. I checked my mobile data and my Wi-Fi, but their system kept telling me I was using a VPN or proxy. When I contacted support, they said it was an automatic system response and there was nothing they could do. This is classic bad service. What's the point of such support? If your system goes crazy and blocks my domain, how will you help me? I recommend avoiding services where the system's algorithms have the final say in your situation, and the support staff are simply useless autoresponders.

Hello,
We feel sorry that you've faced this issue.
Please note that our system is designed to automatically detect the use of VPNs or proxy services during order submission. If this error appears, it means that your current connection is being identified as a VPN or proxy.
This may occur if you have a proxy enabled on your device or browser, or if your IP address is being routed through a proxy network.
We have sent you a private request for more information so we can investigate further. If you can respond, we can look into it for you.

Best Price for Domain Transfer. Easy site navigation better than GoDaddy and Hostinger(My previous registers).Best service. Not a clue to complain. I am an AI Tester and ethical hacker along a domain investor/analyst. But spaceship is clueless.

Amazing Prices, Great Website and Perfect for Web Developers!
As an avid web developer and hobbyist in the web space I've purchased quite a few domains in my time, all from your more "common" TLD providers.
I stumbled upon Spaceship randomly one day whilst browsing for a new domain and since then I've not looked back. Although, to begin with the layout and design of Spaceship was somewhat daunting to understand, their helpful "walk through" got me to where I needed to be.
Since purchasing my first domain from them at the beginning of 2025, I've since added 5 more to my portfolio and have absolutely no regrets. I've even gotten my fiancée onboard!
The price they offer are almost hard to beat and 9/10 times they're always the cheapest first year rate and then renewal. A .com domain's starting price at £6.62 and then renewal at £7.59 is honestly refreshing.
They also offer a large variety of TLD's, although not all of them, the range they offer is extensive enough to make them your only platform.
Once you get used to their website, I must admit it's extremely nice and everything is where it needs to be. No more clicking multiple options just to edit DNS or Nameservers.
Everything just works.
10/10 across the board. I'm incredibly grateful to have found Spaceship when I did.
