I purchased a domain through Spaceship because of its strong reputation in the domain industry. Unfortunately, shortly after registration, the domain was placed on hold pending verification by a third-party authority.
I submitted all requested KYC documents on the same day they were requested. More than 7 days later, I am still waiting for a response or resolution. While Spaceship support has been polite and responsive, their position is that they cannot remove the hold because it was applied by their partner.
As a customer, this is frustrating because I purchased the domain from Spaceship, paid Spaceship directly, and trusted Spaceship's service. I had no relationship with the third-party organization involved. When customers buy through a registrar, they expect the registrar to take ownership of the customer experience and actively help resolve issues with their partners.
The most disappointing part is the lack of a clear timeline or escalation path. My project has been delayed, and the domain I paid for remains unusable.
I hope Spaceship improves how it handles cases involving third-party verification authorities and provides stronger advocacy for customers facing extended delays.

I have been using Spaceship hosting for over a year, and I have consistently experienced issues with the service. However, this time my hosting has been down for more than 5 hours, and nobody seems to be doing anything about it.
At this point, it feels like I am simply waiting for the technical team to arrive and start their shift.
There are plenty of budget hosting providers out there. I would not say they all provide excellent service, but none of them have left my websites offline for 5–10 hours.

I was using all other providers from Godaddy ,Hostinger , even NameCheap -the parent too for 8 years and i have seen lots of issues but this one is cool , easy to manage , nearly negligible fees and the best UX. i moved around my 80 domains easily at 1/3 price.

I love Spaceship. I have tried so many online plans, and well, I am not trying anymore. I feel like I have the control I want, or the automation when I don't want to work so hard. The ai help is great and online real time support is really OUTSTANDING. I love so much about this platform I could write a small book and I am just getting into it. I can't wait to really unlock all the great stuff. I would recommend this to everyone I know and don't know trying to make a presence on the internet. BESIDES great service and tons of services THE PRICE... SO great on pricing and yes there are things to add on and those prices are great too, things you need that normally cost that much a month are that much a YEAR here. I mean you just can't go wrong.

As good as people may think Spaceship.com is, it really isn't good.
This registrar facilitates domains for global scammers. I've raised this with ICANN to have them removed as a domain registrar.
I've found numerous domains run by scam product reviews controlled by Spaceship. They seem to be solely focused on profits over safety of consumers.

I've used pretty much every major domain registrar out there and Spaceship.com is genuinely in a league of its own when it comes to pricing and user experience.
The pricing is transparent and actually competitive. No bait-and-switch where the first year is cheap and renewal prices are three times higher. What you see is what you pay, and it's consistently some of the lowest pricing I've found across all the TLDs I regularly use for my business.
The interface is clean and modern, which sounds like a small thing but matters a lot when you're managing a portfolio of domains. Everything is where you expect it to be. DNS management is straightforward, transfers are painless, and I've never had a domain go missing in limbo during a transfer the way I have with other registrars.
Search is fast, bulk registration works well, and the checkout process doesn't bombard you with upsells and add-ons you didn't ask for. It's refreshing.
Customer support has been solid every time I've needed them. Real responses, not copy-paste nonsense.

They advertise a promo code for low-cost domain registration. However, when I try to register a domain, their system automatically says "VPN or Proxy detected," even though I am not using a VPN.
