Steadily agro third party photographers
Steadily "third party" inspector taking photos of property was absolute nightmare today. No ID and did not want to provide one, nor was there a prior notice to the request to walk the property and take photos. When I told him I was not aware this would happen today he said "that's the owners fault, you must have something to hide." I was like WTF? After further research it seems they are dispatched without the property owners knowing. He escalated quickly and basically said without allowing him to take photos the insurance would be canceled. Guy's clothing looked super sketch, no badge, no id etc.

Hi Kasey, we're sorry for the frustration this caused! We notify the policyholder ahead of time and ask them to give any occupants a heads-up. Field inspectors are dispatched by a third-party inspection company and the interaction you describe isn't what we'd want for anyone. Property inspections are a routine part of every policy and involve exterior photos only, so they aren't scheduled and don't require anything from the occupant. The best next step is to have your landlord reach out to Steadily so we can review what happened with the inspection company. -Steadily
