Defective nh35 movment
Ordered a watch with a defective nh35 movment. They offered me to send me a new movment almost 2 months ago so I could deliver it to my local watchmaker so they could swap the movment. But nothing has happened and I will still have expenses for the work the watchmaker have to do. According to Steeldive there is a problem getting the movment from their supplier as it is a LHD crown. If they knew this they should either refund my purchase or send me a new watch. It's a shame, because they make nice watches and I will think twice before I order from them again

Excellent watches, amazing quality for the price. I have several of them. I don’t have to pay thousands of dollars for a submariner when I can buy a SD1953 for less than $200. My SD1957 one of my favorites.

NOT GOOD / BEWARE
First off, from what I understand, this site isn’t even the official STEELDIVE website. The legitimate manufacturer’s site is steeldive.com, where the same watches are sold for less. So right from the start, I feel misled and duped into thinking I was buying directly from STEELDIVE. Then, to make matters worse, the supposedly “brand-new” watch they sent me arrived DOA (dead on arrival). It never worked—not even once, straight out of the box. I emailed them THREE separate times trying to resolve the issue and received absolutely no response. After getting nowhere, I finally had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Interestingly enough, after 14 days of silence, they suddenly contacted me today—only after the dispute was filed. Apparently, stopping payment was the only way to get their attention. At this point, I’m waiting to see how they handle the situation, but based on my experience, I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend purchasing anything from this site. Save yourself the money, frustration, and headache and purchase directly from the official STEELDIVE website instead. Their prices are better, and my experience with their customer support has been amazing; they are VERY responsive and professional.

Lost Trust
I have been buying Steeldive watches for years and it has always been a happy experience-until my last order.I ordered the sealed back version of the PLOPROF. When I received it,I was never told that the crown works in reverse. Not knowing this,I could not understand why I could not unscrew the crown to set the watch.A Steeldive rep told me it was normal to be tight. When another finally told me about the unusual reverse configuation,the crown was so tight,it coulkd not be turned. Steeldive agreed it had to be sent in for repair,which I did. After some time,tracking revealed that it was being processed through the Chinese postal system. This info never changed.Weeks went by. I reached out to Steeldive several times and I was told they would look into it. Now over a year has passed and the company has ignored all my attempts to reach out. Iam out $400 + and a company I had always admired has abandoned a loyal customer. Order ST17202. Delivered 3/27/25. 6/16/25 when I began asking why I was not hearing from the company.

My order did not arrive and when asked about it they said they could resend it?!! Why would I want to do that when it didn't come the first time. The good thing is that the refund was given quickly.
Movement was defective
Movement was defective. Watch would stop working when held upside down. When I tried to return it, I was told money could not be credited to my credit card. I was also required to provide an image of my passport, which I was uncomfortable doing. I ended up having the movement replaced. In the end, the watch ended up costing me three times the sale price.
