At the age of 82, I just finished writing my third book in 7 months using the Storyworth site. It is fantastic and helps your thought process, proofreading and printing a professional finished product. Highly recommend it, especially for writing your life stories.
I’m so enjoying writing my story for my grandchildren and future generations. It gives me a chance to remember things long forgotten. It also sharpens my memory digging into my past. I highly recommend this journey for future generations. My neighbor shared this with me and I’m so grateful she did.
The book turned out great and I appreciate that they flagged an issue with one of the photos before it went to printing. One of the two books I ordered arrived with vertical lines on several of the pages (a printing problem). They ultimately reprinted it but made me jump through a bunch of hoops to prove it was a problem.
I am enjoying writing all the stories. They sometimes need a lot of thought to get through them.
The process forces me to look back at such everyday events and allowa me to share my history so my children and grandchildren can get to know me and my life before they arrived! Always a challenge to look back and put my memories on paper. But so worth it. Have already written 22 stories and still going!

A book for generations to read!
It’s so nice to have everything so organized for us. We aren’t overwhelmed because we can write a little at a time and we aren’t under pressure. It is also wonderful to be able to add pictures with our stories. This book will be such a wonderful surprise for our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. All we have to do is finish it :)
I like writing, so it’s been fun to have a question about my past every week to write about. I do have friends who have not enjoyed the experience at all, seeing it as homework, but they don’t like writing.
Helping to build a closer relationship between family members
I have enjoyed seeing which questions my son was interested by. I really enjoy sharing my stories for my adult kids and grandchildren. I wish I had this for my grandparents.

Writing these stories reminds us of life experiences that have influenced us so greatly and for which we are so grateful. Remembering the love we received in the past helps us remember to love others now.
