Sunbit provides needed funds for auto repair

My 2018 Genesis G80 Sport needed to stop leaking oil. Took it to North Palm Beach Hyundai and needed a loan to get it repaired. Sunbit provided the funds and the repairs were completed. Sunbit Was GREAT. Funds provided immediately . North Palm Hyundai also did a great job. Great company.ilOh well Life goes on. Sunbit is GREAT. Trust them

A non-scam that feels like one

I signed up for a Sunbit loan, based on the 12 months same as cash option and my Endodontist mentioning them in a pre-appointment text. Wrong choice. They offer a "12 months same as cash" option which is what I wanted. To get that though, you have to sign up for an 18, 24, or 36 month plan. No problem, when I get set up on-line, I'll just go in and set up an automatic payment plan that will pay the loan off in 12 (or 11) months, like I've done with other "same as cash" deals. Nope. They take your credit card and automatically set up 18, 24, or 36 monthly payments Once the payments are set up, you can't change them. You can make a second payment every month (which is a hassle anyway) to make up the difference, or you can make 1 or more extra payments to make up the difference. You CANNOT set up automatic monthly extra payments, if that's what you want to do, you have to go in MANUALLY, every month, and schedule an extra payment. That feels to me like they are trying to make you miss an extra payment so that, in the end, you won't pay the loan off in the 12 months and then they can collect the (relatively high - 18ish%) interest for the entire period That's where it feels like a scam to me. Go with Care Credit if it's offered. Much better system. I said, "to heck with that" and made one extra payment, for the whole amount. I was fortunate to be able to do that because I REALLY didn't want to take the chance of getting slapped with 12 months of high interest because I didn't pay it off until 12 months and one day. show less
