Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. People find the chapter recaps, quizzes, and comprehensive study guides exceptionally helpful for preparing for book club discussions, testing comprehension, and refreshing their memory on past reads. Customers also warmly appreciate the responsive customer support team, noting that staff members are polite, professional, and very quick to resolve inquiries. Though some customers mentioned challenges with account navigation, difficult trial periods, or unexpected subscription renewals, others noted that certain newly published books lack complete summaries and expressed a clear desire for more in-depth literary analysis across various titles.

Hi Donna, we're sorry for any inconvenince. It sounds like that review is meant to be for Trustpilot, not SuperSummary. Our Support team will reach out to offer assistance in case you need any from us!
Thanks so much, Alan!

A quick read for a busy month to get prepared for bookclub meeting

Have just started my Essentials subscription and delved into Zadie Smiths "The Fraud". Excellent excellent reviews of this elwork so far. I can find the answers to my queries very well outlined in the Discussion. Hope to continue like this!

Originally I was disappointed in this app but I was looking for summaries on books that were newly published or about to come out. The team reached out to me and helped very quickly.
Hi Sandy! We always welcome our readers' suggestions to grow our library. We'd love to know which titles you've looked for and haven't found. Please email us at [email protected], and we'll let you know whether they're already in production. If they're not, we can send them to our team for review. We're looking forward to hearing from you!
When I first sampled your service I thought it was amazing. I began by joining at the basic level but I feel if you are an avid reader and want access to all that is SuperSummary joining the plus membership is very worthwhile. As a member of a book club I feel it can enrich all members experience, take pressure off members leading the discussion and add a lot of fun with quizzes, games and food reflecting the selected book. I'll look forward to reviewing my experience after this year.
Hi Maurene, thanks for your feedback. We're glad you find SuperSummary valuable, and we're sorry for any confusion. While listening to the information provided for the play The Humans, I am pleased with SS details regarding thematic elements, symbolic significance, and general analysis; however, I am disappointed in the audio. The computerized vocal delivery is weak in terms of word pronunciation, inflection, timing, and emotion. There’s definitely room for improvement in this area.
Hi Freddie! We're glad you find our content helpful, and we also appreciate your specific feedback about the audio narration of The Humans. We've passed it to our tech team for them to review and improve it. Thanks for using SuperSummary!
Thank you for your positive review, Ann! We're glad you're enjoying SuperSummary.
I gave you five stars. Five stars, submit, that should be the end of it. I get so tired of being asked to review things. If I don't like your product, I will let you know.
Hi there! Thank you for your 5-star review. We’re sorry for any inconvenience. We only show one review request logged for your email address in our records, so if you receive another one from us, please reach out to [email protected]. That would indicate something isn’t working as intended, and our team will be happy to look into it right away.
Was able to identify specific areas of a book that had greater significance to the story than I might have thought. The summaries are very detailed. I have used the summaries to prioritize which books I will read first. SuperSummary is an excellent tool in the toolbox for avid readers.
Thank you so much, Donna! We're so glad you've found so much value in SuperSummary as an avid reader. Thanks so much for sharing!
We're happy to hear that, Terry! Thanks for sharing your experience.
I was able to reference books prior to reading.
Hi Patricia! We're glad you've found some of the books you've needed. Please email us at [email protected] to let us know which titles you'd like us to select for creating a Study Guide next, and we can let you know if they're in production or share them with the team for their review.
It's really handy for all kinds of info. I love it!
Thank you so much, Jan! We are glad you love it. Thanks for using SuperSummary!
I am really enjoying my subscription to Super Summary. The depth of the analysis of the books I've selected is very impressive. I belong to multiple book clubs and if the book chosen by the book club is one I have read, but not recently, I am able to get a great in depth review to refresh my memory. This site is great.
Thank you, Linda! We're very happy to hear that you're having a good experience with SuperSummary. We hope you continue to enjoy our resources for many titles to come!
I use it for prep for book club when it has been a year or several months since I read the book.
Thank you for sharing, Sherry! We are glad we're able to refresh your memory and save you time and money by not having to read the book again. Thanks for using SuperSummary!
Response time to straighten out a subscription issue was very quick. Directions offered were clear, complete and very helpful. Would that all customer care be done so well- and by real people- not bots or AI. Thank you.
Thank you, Joyce! It's our pleasure to serve you with speed, effectiveness, and warmth. Thanks for sharing!
My 8th grader is a voracious reader and is currently reading the classics. He just finished Treasure Island and Oliver Twist. I don’t want to read all these books but do want to be able to discuss them with him. WIth SuperSummary I can do that. So thankful I found SuperSummary.
Thank you so much! We love being a part of those rich and memorable conversations with your son. Thanks for sharing; it means the world to us!
This app is absolutely great. My grandson has to rea The American Colonies over the summer for an AP History class in the fall. I don’t know how a sophomore in high school could wade through the book without the study guide.
Thank you so much for your review, Thomas! We're so happy to be a valuable resource to make literature accessible for your grandson. We really appreciate your kind words and hope he continues to count on us in university, too!
